Mr. Zhang Hui Died in April as Result of Torture at Gongzhuling Prison in Jilin Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhang Hui, 30, from Antu County, Jilin Province died as a result of brutal torture he suffered at Gongzhuling Prison in Jilin Province.

When the doctor tried to perform surgery on Zhang Hui in April 2009, he saw that Zhang Hui's stomach was black, which did not allow for surgery. Zhang Hui later passed away in the hospital.

(Clearwisdom.net) At about 10:00 p.m. on March 24, 2009, Ding Yuhua (female), the head of the National Security Department, Hailin City Public Security Bureau, Heilongjiang Province, collaborated with Guan Jingwei (deputy head), police officer Jin Haizhu, and policemen from the Fourth Police Station, and broke into the house of a married couple, Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Jin Zongshan and Mrs. Yan Fengmei. They confiscated a computer and forcibly took away Jin Zongshan, Yan Fengmei and Yan Fengmei's brother-in-law, Meng Xianguo, who was visiting the couple. Jin Zongshan escaped from the Public Security Bureau, but was forced to become homeless in order to avoid being arrested again. He was unconscious when he was found by his family on May 15, 2009. He passed away on May 22, 2009.

Ms. Chen Shaoqing of Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province Tortured and Her Life in Danger

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Chen Shaoqing, a practitioner in Mazhang District, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, was arrested right before the 2008 Olympics and is being held in the No.2 Prison in Zhanjiang City. A few days ago, she was carried to meet with visiting friends. She was extremely thin and in a very weak condition. Her eyes were closed, she was mentally confused, she could not talk and she was lying motionless in the fetal position. It was obvious that her life was in peril.
