(Clearwisdom.net) In March 2009, I heard that there would be a human rights parade in Nice. I then contacted the host of the activity and said I would like to make use of the opportunity to expose the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and publicize the large movement of Chinese people quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

On the evening of March 10, I went to the starting place of the parade - the Place Messena in Nice. Before that I had made a sandwich board with information on both sides exposing the persecution of Falun Gong in China. I was walking like this through the streets, distributing truth-clarification materials and collecting signatures from passersby to condemn the cruel persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP. While I was a little bit unused to doing this on my own, I did not want to miss this opportunity, so I started off with full confidence. When I was waiting for the tram, a young man stopped in front of me and read my panels carefully. After finishing reading he expressed his thanks to me for the information he had just gained. All the way on the tram, people read the panels, asked questions and wanted to sign my petition.
As soon as I arrived at the Place Messena and joined the parade, people started gathering around me to read the panels. They still wanted to know more and I gave them different materials. They signed the signature collection form right away.
The evening was quite cold and very windy but I was not uncomfortable; I only felt that my whole body was energized. It took half an hour to walk about 100 meters since there were people asking me questions all the way. They wanted to know more about Falun Gong and to sign the petition. Many people expressed their indignation and astonishment at the persecution in China. People encouraged me and said that they admired my courage.
Afterwards, with another two practitioners, we held a banner reading "Falun Dafa is Good," and continued the "truth-clarification" activity by strolling through the old section of town. On the way home, I met a group of young people, who all signed the petition as soon as they learned about the irrational persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP.
