(Clearwisdom.net) At the end of last year, a production company reviewed my program and offered to pay me a very generous amount. They agreed to combine techniques and promote my program. We signed a contract. I would work under contract after the company's general manager had signed off on the contract. I was to be paid an advance and the rest after completing the project. The conversation between both parties was frank and honest. The general manager said candidly that he used to be a gangster and had served time in jail. He also cautioned me not to deceive them.
I asked the general manager and his driver to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) so they would be saved. Both of them immediately agreed. After I learned that the general manager was in poor health, I asked him to recite "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!" which he did. Before I left, the general manager asked me not to provide services to any other companies in their region and I agreed, though this was not part of the written contract. The general manager left and made arrangements according to my program. Any problems were taken care off after short discussions.
One day I received a phone call from another large company, asking for my services. They offered to pay according to my services, but this company was located in the area I had promised not to serve, so I declined. I told them that I had agreed not to serve any competitor of a company I had a contract with in this particular region. If they wanted to get my services they had to hire both of us. Later I told the general manager about this incident.
The general manager said that he recited daily, "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!" and that his health had improved quite a bit. They asked me to come and see them and said they would pay my travel costs. The general manager and his driver were waiting for me at the airport. They informed me that a competitor in this area wanted to work with us. The general manager told me that the phone call I had received was actually made by his father, the company chairman, to test my honesty. They were highly satisfied with my response. I was very much surprised. It is good to be honest!
The car went to the city's most luxurious five-star hotel. This was my first time in a five-star hotel. They rented a business suite with a large living room and two bedrooms. I asked to be moved to a less expensive hotel. I was told that this hotel was owned by his boss, so they got a great discount on the accommodation.
The driver told me that the general manager owned two entertainment companies that employed 200 young call-girls. They offered to send one of them to my room. I declined. One evening the general manager told me on leaving that a young lady would come to my room. I thought he was joking and did not take it seriously, but there was a knock at the door and a 20-year-old young lady stood smiling outside. I thought, "No matter what profession she is in, she has come to listen to the truth about Falun Dafa and to be saved." I asked her to come and told her the truth about Falun Dafa and about quitting the CCP and its affiliated companies, which she did. Then I spoke of being rewarded after reciting sincerely, "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!" She was greatly shocked. Then she made advances that I kindly stopped by saying, "I have integrity." She said, "No matter how upright a person is, he still has emotions and passion." Finally she told me that she had been told to come and see me and had to perform her duty. I comforted her and said, "Don't worry about the general manager! I will explain it to him. I assure you that he will not give you hard time." She insisted, so I finally picked up her belongings, told her that it was too late, and made her leave. She asked me to pretend that she had given me a good time, and I promised again and again that the general manager would not blame her. I called a taxi for her.
I told the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution to the company chairman, who suffered from diabetes. He said, "I heard that the Falun Gong is not good." I told him, "Falun Gong teaches Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, to be truthful, to treat people nicely, to be a good person in all circumstances, to exercise restraint when faced with conflicts, and to never fight back. I told him that the purpose of the propaganda published by the media was only to malign Falun Gong. "You have experienced many political movements and are aware that the Chinese Communist Party uses all means, fair or foul, to achieve its political ends." He said, "That is true." I gave him several true examples of getting good rewards after reciting "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." He laughed and asked me to write down the two sentences for him. As soon as I wrote them down, he began to read them. Then he agreed to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
The general manager and I became close friends. We visited his grandfather in the hospital. His grandmother later told us that the hospital had asked them to prepare us for the worst. I immediately said to the general manager, "Have your grandfather quit the CCP and recite 'Falun Dafa is good.'" I showed him stories on Clearwisdom, the English version of the Minghui Website, where people were saved by reciting "Falun Dafa is good." The general manager felt confident. I begged Teacher for help. The grandfather quit the CCP and he recited "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." His grandmother and uncle also quit the CCP.
Before I left , the driver told me that the general manager would offer me the management position in an affiliated company owned by the general manager. They offered me shares in the company and a great salary. The general manager indeed discussed the offer with me. During this recessionary time, many college students can't find a job and I was offered such a fabulous position. I said that I would have to discuss the offer with my family.
On the way to the airport , the driver asked me to tell him more about Falun Gong and quitting the CCP. I told him, "The Communist Party is an anti-traditional, anti-moral cult. After it came to power, it launched one political movement after another, resulting in 80 million Chinese people being killed, more than in both world wars combined. The CCP has maintained its authoritarian rule through lies and violence. If you quit the CCP, you will not accompany it to its demise, a time is not too far off."
Before getting on my flight, I received a message from the general manager on my cell phone: "My revered teacher, your integrity is priceless!" I think that it is because I am a Falun Dafa practitioner that I have such integrity. Every practitioner's integrity is priceless.
