Taiwan: Eutelsat Condemned for Shutting Down NTDTV (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the eve of the Olympic Games, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) coerced Eutelsat, a European satellite company, to cut off the NTDTV broadcast signal into China. China broke its promise to improve human rights and seriously infringed the right of receiving broadcasting in Mainland China and Asia. The incident received wide attention from all circles in Taiwan. On the morning of July 31, 2008, Association of Taiwan Journalists, Taiwan Labor Front, businessmen and others held a press conference to condemn Eutelsat for yielding to the CCP and shutting down NTDTV. They called for the international community to stop the CCP's suppression of NTDTV and freedom of news.

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 29, 2008, an open letter to President Bush that was initiated by Congressman Tom Tancredo and signed by a total of 35 representatives of the U.S. Congress was sent to the White House. The letter calls on President Bush to direct the Justice Department to investigate the frequently organized attacks on Falun Gong practitioners.

Israel: Wide Support Condemning the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 22, 2008, a rally was held near the Israeli Parliament building in Jerusalem to support 22 Members of the Israeli Parliament who co-signed a letter condemning the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong.
