(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wu Xueyan, Minister of Taiwan's National Immigration Agency, missed the opportunity to see the Divine Performing Arts show last year due to scheduling conflicts. On March 16, Mr. Wu attended the fourth show in Taipei with his friends, Mr. Jia Leji, chief secretary of the Hsinchu County Police Bureau, and Dr. Zhang Lexin, head of the Kainan University Library.

During the intermission, Mr. Wu told the reporter that he thought the first half of the show was quite spectacular, and he was especially moved by the dances that displayed Chinese culture. In particular, "Water Sleeves" attracted his attention with its feminine grace and tenderness. He saw an abundance of the spirit of determination in the dances "The Loyalty of Yue Fei" and "Drummers of the Tang Court."

Mr. Wu had many profound thoughts after he saw "The Risen Lotus Flower," which depicted the persecution of Falun Gong in China. He said that Falun Gong should not be labeled as political. He said that "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance" should be shown to the entire world and should be promoted!

Mr. Wu further noted that when he saw the three Falun Gong practitioners in the show display their firmness and indomitable spirit towards their belief, he thought it was very beautiful, even as the police repression represented the dark side. "Good and evil, darkness and light are spelled out for all to see."

In Mr. Wu's opinion the most important asset of a state was its culture. "If the Divine Performing Arts can continue to use art as a vehicle to let more and more people see the beauty of Falun Gong, and to let people experience the beauty of 'Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance,' it could elevate the moral standards and conscience of the entire state or society."

Mr. Wu said he was amazed by the backdrop in "The Risen Lotus Flower," which compared the divine world and earthly reality. "As long as one believes in light and hope, just as the practitioners in "The Risen Lotus Flower," one will surely belong to a finer spiritual realm."

After the show, Mr. Wu expressed his amazement again and again, "I am so thankful! It was so magnificent! So magnificent!"
