Russia: Falun Gong Practitioners in Moscow Clarify the Facts of the Persecution (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) On August 25, 2007, practitioners held truth clarification activities in front of the "Moscow Town" business center to expose the Chinese Communist regime's persecution against Falun Gong practitioners during the past eight years.
The banner displayed by practitioners attracted many people as they emerged from a subway station. Among them were staff members of the Duma (equivalent to Britain's lower house of Parliament), professors of the Russian Academy of Sciences, college students and retirees. They had never heard the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. After viewing the banner and flyers, most people indicated their outrage at the Chinese Communist regime's brutal persecution against compassionate people. They signed their names to support stopping the persecution.
After viewing two banners that read "Stop the Persecution against Falun Gong Practitioners Immediately" and "Cover-up of the Crimes Committed by the Chinese Regime Is Threatening the Future of Russia," a young couple want to know more details about the persecution.
Some practitioners also distributed truth clarification materials on Kutuzov Avenue, where there were more cars and people. Most people were pleased to accept the material. Some of the drivers even pulled over and approached practitioners to get material, especially the truth clarification DVDs.
The activities lasted for about an hour. As usual, three policemen on duty showed up to verify the permit for our activity. Practitioners explained the truth about the persecution to them and gave them a truth clarification newspaper. The senior police officer who led the squad learned and accepted the true facts and materials. He also signed his name to support Falun Gong.
