(Clearwisdom.net) The Canadian Prime Minister will attend the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) meetings in September. Falun Gong practitioners from Canada held one-week-long activities in front of Parliament Hill and other tourist spots in Ottawa to call on the Prime Minister to help stop the persecution of Falun Gong during the APEC meetings and rescue 16 jailed Falun Gong practitioners who are family members of Canadian citizens.

Falun Gong practitioners re-enacted organ harvesting for the tourists in front of Parliament Hill.

Torture and organ harvesting re-enactments

Tourists sign their names on the petition supporting Falun Gong practitioners

Many people were shocked by the brutality of the persecution. Some tourists cried after learning the facts. They asked for more information and put their signatures on the petition to support Falun Gong practitioners. They also thanked practitioners for telling them the facts.

The practitioners reported that the anti-torture exhibition and the organ harvesting re-enactment touched people's hearts. Many tourists were willing to sign the petition. Practitioners collected several hundred signatures every day.

Practitioners noticed that many Chinese people have changed their attitude towards Falun Gong. Ms. Huang, a practitioner, said, "A Chinese Communist Party (CCP) official came to our anti-torture exhibition. He said that the persecution is very brutal. I asked him to sign the petition. When he asked why, I told him that the purpose is to stop the persecution, so he did. Later, another CCP official showed up. He asked me if I had copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and he said he wanted to read it. I gave him several copies."

Ms. Liu, a practitioner, said, "I talked to three Chinese people today. They all signed the petition and accepted the truth-clarifying materials." Ms. Wang said that she convinced three Chinese people to quit the Party and its related organizations. She said, "It was hard to convince them to quit the Party before, and they didn't dare to accept the truth-clarifying materials. But it is different now." On September 1 alone, 33 Chinese people quit the Party at the practitioners' booth.

As of September 2, practitioners had delivered 22,000 appeal letters to the Prime Minister.
