CIPFG Submits Letter to the German Chancellor Urging Her to Seek an Immediate End to the Persecution of Falun Gong

(Clearwisdom.net) On August 24, 2007, German members of the CIPFG (Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China) wrote a letter to Chancellor Angela Merkel, who is scheduled to visit China. In the letter, they urged Mrs. Merkel to help to end the Chinese communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong and to pass on letters from the CIPFG to China's president Hu Jintao and premier Wen Jiabao. Their letter to Merkel is translated as follows:

(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday, September 1, 2007, the Melbourne Service Center for Quitting the CCP held a rally and parade at the City Square in downtown Melbourne during the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) meeting in Australia. The rally called on people to appeal to delegations from participating countries to join together to stop the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s abuse of human rights, one of the main themes of the event.

(Clearwisdom.net) Invited by the Epoch Times in South America, Mr. David Matas, a renowned international human rights lawyer and one of the authors of the Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China, made a trip in August 2007 to tour Central and South America, including Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, and Mexico. He spoke on the topic of concern; met with political leaders, representatives of human rights organizations, people in law circles, doctors, religious groups, and students; and exposed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) atrocities.
