Vancouver, Canada: Practitioners Hold a Rally to Protest Violent Assault Incident (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of August 4, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners held a rally in front of the Chinese Consulate in Vancouver. They protested the Chinese Consulate for continuously spreading hate propaganda overseas to smear Falun Gong. They also protested the incident that occurred on August 2 when three gunmen violently assaulted and intimidated a peacefully-protesting Falun Gong practitioner in front of the Chinese Consulate. The practitioners called on the police to conduct a thorough investigation so as to bring perpetrators and instigators behind the scenes to justice as soon as possible. The chairman of the trade union at the British Columbia Hospital, a former MP and the chairman of Friends of Falun Gong and other dignitaries attended the rally.

(Clearwisdom.net) All those who have been in Vancouver will have seen a very special sight: a row of large display boards in front of the Chinese Consulate on Granville Street. Banners reading, "Falun Dafa is Good," "Stop the Persecution, Bring Jiang to Justice," along with pictures depicting the Chinese Communist Party's organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, and Falun Gong practitioners being tortured. Next to the display boards there is a small blue shelter, about 2 square meters in size.

Austria: The International "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition" Held in Graz (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of July 5, 2007 an international art exhibition entitled the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition" officially opened in Graz, the capital of Steiermark Province. The "Ars Cara" arts and culture club sponsored the exhibition. Their motto is "Arts for Human Rights." Ars Cara had great success showing the same exhibition last year throughout Austria. It was supported and recognized by politicians, NGOs and a kind and caring public.
