Australia: Civic Leaders Welcome Human Rights Torch in Melbourne and Condemn the CCP's Brutality (Photos)

During this time it has traveled to over 20 countries in Europe, and in Australia through many cities in the states of New South Wales and Queensland. At 7:30 p.m. on November 16, 2007, the Torch Relay reached the cultural capital of Australia: Melbourne, Victoria.

Chicago, U.S.A.: Falun Gong Participates in Thanksgiving Parade (Photos/Video)

(Clearwisdom.net) The 74th Chicago Thanksgiving Parade was held on State Street, November 22, 2007. Falun Gong practitioners were again invited to perform in the parade. WGN 9 broadcast the parade live. About one million families watched it on TV. The parade host introduced Falun Gong to the audience and thanked practitioners for bringing beautiful and pure Chinese culture to the parade.

Argentina: Ms. Zhang Cuiying Honored as Human Rights Ambassador (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zhang Cuiying, a Falun Gong practitioner and artist who specializes in traditional Chinese painting, was invited to Argentina to testify in court in the lawsuit against Luo Gan filed by Falun Gong practitioners. Luo Gan was the Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Central Political and Legislative Committee and was instrumental in carrying out the persecution of Falun Gong. During her visit to Argentina, Zhang Cuiying held a four-day art exhibition at the Central Hotel in Tucuman, the capital of Tucuman Province, in Northern Argentina. The exhibit opened on November 13, 2007, and Ms. Zhang's art attracted much attention from local citizens. The mainstream media covered the art exhibition and the persecution that Ms. Zhang experienced in China for practicing Falun Gong.
