First, let me wish the Fa Conference complete success in achieving its goals.

Dafa disciples' Fa conferences are Law assemblies where they improve by learning from each other, that allow them to find where they fall short, and that enable them to strengthen their righteous thoughts on their paths to Consummation. Your accomplishments reflect mighty virtue gained through sound Fa study and the solidifying of righteous thoughts, and your shortcomings tell of the things that you need to work on along your cultivation path. Whatever you experience during your cultivation--whether good or bad--is good, for it comes about only because you are cultivating. A cultivator cannot achieve Consummation when laden with human thoughts, laden with karmic debts, or laden with attachments. Gold's luster increases as it is refined over time. Through righteous thoughts and righteous acts, Dafa disciples are establishing every aspect of their divinity, and are, at the same time, building the cosmos's future.

A Shanxi Province Falun Dafa Practitioner Tortured to Death at the Dongcheng Detention Center in Beijing in 2001

(Clearwisdom.net) A Falun Dafa practitioner from Shanxi Province, in his 50s, and a woman practitioner named Cheng Zhuanyu went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong in early March 2001. They were illegally arrested. The male practitioner was detained and later tortured to death in Room 9, Floor 1 of the Dongcheng Detention Center in Beijing.

Additional Information on Ms. Liu Gai's Death

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Liu Gai, a Falun Gong practitioner in Boai County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, was arrested on September 26, 2002, and persecuted to death in the next day. In the crematorium, a family member found that her naked body was placed in a black bag. Her two wrists were cut open with gaps a dozen centimeters in length (4.7 in.) and four centimeters (2 in.) wide. It seemed that a piece of flesh had been sliced off both her hands.

My Husband Li Junqing Died of Injustice

(Clearwisdom.net) My name is Lu Huiyi. My husband Li Junqing was an employee at the security section of the Power Bureau of Kaiyuan City, Yunnan Province. Since the persecution started in 1999, the authorities imprisoned me in a forced labor camp for one and a half years because I upheld my practice of Falun Gong. During that time, my lonely husband traveled around the Yanji region in Jilin Province. Because he carried some truth-clarification materials, the local police arrested him and imprisoned him in Yinmahe forced labor camp in Jiutai City, Jilin Province. After a few months of imprisonment, he died in police custody. While the death notice from Yinhema Labor Camp stated that my husband died on December 17, 2002, the death certificates from my husband's former employer and from the police station of the Kaiyuan City police department had the death date as November 17, 2002.
