On November 20, 2006, policemen Zhao Ezhong and others from the Xinbin County Police Department illegally arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang Jiajun from Yongling Town in Xinbin County, Liaoning Province. His home was ransacked and his computer and other Dafa materials were confiscated. Mr. Zhang Jiajun was sentenced to two years of forced labor and is imprisoned at the Fushun City Forced Labor Camp.

On December 6, 2006, a male practitioner from Baiquan Town in Dongliao County, Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province, clarified the truth of Falun Gong at a public bath. A policeman who was taking a bath notified other policemen who came and arrested him.

Practitioner Mr. Qi Xiang has been held at the Beipiao City Detention Center in Liaoning Province since police arrested him on June 24, 2006. No family visits are allowed. Recently the Beipiao City Court in Liaoning Province sentenced him without legal cause.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Guofang was imprisoned at Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City in Jilin Province for two years. At the end of her term, guards at the forced labor camp extended her term three times. She has not been released yet.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Jiali was imprisoned in the First Division at Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. She was tortured by many methods, including being tied on a "dead man's bed" for savage force-feeding, electrified by electric batons, and so on.

Around 8 p.m. on September 8, 2006, practitioner Ms. Xiao Benying "clarified the truth" to students near the overpass bridge at the Jianshe Square in the Chaoyang District of Changchun City, Jilin Province. Some student's parents reported her to police and officers from the Jianshe Square Police Station in the Chaoyang District. She was taken to Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City.

A practitioner from the Tiedaoxi Region in the Xinchengzi District of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, had been under residential surveillance around the clock by police in two police cars. His entire family, including a five-month-old baby, had to become homeless and go into hiding.

In the afternoon on August 7, 2006, five policemen from the Xiaohe Town Police Station in Liaoyang County in Liaoning Province arrested practitioner Mr. Jiang Deting from Jiangjunfang Village in Xiaohe Town and took him to a brainwashing center. Mr. Jiang Deting escaped and went into hiding.

Practitioner Mr. Jiang Song is imprisoned at the Changchun City Number Two Detention Center in Jilin Province.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Shulan, around 60, lives near Weixing Road in the Nanhu Region in Changchun City, Jilin Province. Police arrested her at her home on December 5, 2006, and took her to Changchun City Number Three Detention Center.

Staff from the Siping City 610 Office and Yitong County 610 Office in Jilin Province are planning to brainwash practitioner Mr. Wu Keli who is imprisoned at the Jilin Province Prison.

The police arrested practitioners Mr. Shao Ligui, Mr. Zhang Chuanzhu, and his wife, Mrs. Wang Yuzhen. They are imprisoned at a detention center in Linjiang City, Jilin Province. Because Mr. Shao Ligui was the director of the Fusong County Traffic Police Division, he wore a police uniform and drove a police car when clarifying the truth.

In the morning on December 5, 2006, the police from Fusong County Political Security Section and Lushuihe Town Police Department in Fusong County arrested practitioner Mr. Sun Changping and his sister, Ms. Sun Fengxia, from Lushuihe Town. They detained them at the Fusong County Detention Center and planned to take them to Baishan City Brainwashing Center in Jilin Province for further torture.

On the afternoon of December 8, 2006, the police from Freedom Road Police Station in Changchun City arrested practitioner Mr. Li Wei from Changchun City in Jilin Province at his home. They confiscated his computer, all associated equipment, and Dafa material. Around 4 or 5 p.m., four or five policemen arrested Professor Sun Shibin, a male practitioner from Northeast Normal University, on his way home. Mr. Sun did not pass the physical examination and was released after they extorted 5,000 yuan from his family. Mr. Li Wei is imprisoned at the Changchun City Number Two Detention Center.

Teachers at the Fengman District English Experimental Elementary School in Jilin City, Jilin Province, slandered Dafa. At the teacher-parent conference at the end of the semester, the school asked students, parents, and teachers to sign an accountability statement that included words against Falun Gong.

In September this year, the school assigned students' homework to be completed in either essay or cartoon format. The topic of the assignment was "Believing in Science and Rejecting Cults." The objective was to slander Dafa.

Late in November 2006, staff from the Beijing City 610 Office arrested practitioner Liu Junhe and his mother from Cuiwei Road in the Haidian District in Beijing from their home. Their Dafa books, computer, printer, 70 copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and other materials were confiscated. His mother was released later.

In December 2006, staff from the Beijing City 610 Office arrested practitioner Ms. Dong Yun from Cuiwei Road in the Haidian District of Beijing at her home late at night. She was sentenced to two years of forced labor without due cause.

On December 6, 2006, more than a dozen policemen from Cangzhou City Police Department and Qing County Police Department in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, ransacked many practitioners' homes and offices. Three computers were confiscated. Practitioner Mr. Li Yansong and his wife, Ms. Han Hua, were arrested and their computer, 9,000 "yuan," and Dafa materials were confiscated. Ms. Han Hua was released the next day, but Mr. Li Yansong is still being detained at the Qing County Detention Center.

On December 6, 2006, policemen from the Wei County National Security Team and Nanyangzhuang Township Police Station in Hebei Province went to practitioner Mr. Yang Zhenxing's home at Maizitong Village in Nanyangzhuang Township. They arrested his wife, Ms. Miao Jianhua. She is currently detained at the Wei County Detention Center.

Around 9 p.m. on December 1, 2006, police from the Guantao County Police Department in Handan City, Hebei Province, broke into practitioner Mr. Li Jize's home in Shancai Village in Guantao County. They confiscated a computer, printer, an all-in-one printer, an Internet access card, copy paper, and other personal property. They also arrested his wife, Ms. Song Xifeng, and brother, Mr. Li Jixian. Ms. Song Xifeng was released a few days later.

Police arrested practitioners Mr. Yu Jianchun and Ms. Sun Yuehua from Yantai City in Shandong Province on October 15, 2006. Mr. Yu Jianchun is still imprisoned at the Fushan Detention Center in Yantai City.

Police from the Laizhou City 610 Office arrested practitioner Ms. Liu Hongying from Laizhou City, Shandong Province, on September 18, 2006. She is still imprisoned at the Laizhou City Detention Center, exceeding the maximum detention days allowed by law. Practitioners Mr. Luu Chengjun, Mr. Zhao Shengfu, Mr. Xu Yongqing, and Ms. Wang Xueju were also imprisoned without due cause.

On the afternoon of December 8, 2006, practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuxiang, over 60, from Beitaishan Village in Xinzhuang Town, Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province, was arrested and taken to the Zhaoyuan City Legal Education Center (brainwashing center) by Wen Xiaoxia and others from Xinzhuang Town.

On December 6 or 7, 2006, practitioner Mr. Yang Yudong, riding his bike, collided with a car. The box on the back of his bike broke and truth-clarification materials and CDs fell to the ground. Mr. Yang Yudong was reported to police and then arrested. He was taken to Tanpu Hospital where he was handcuffed to a bed. He refused medical treatment. He was then taken to the Jiuzai Township Police Station in Mengyin County in Shandong Province. He is still imprisoned in Linyi City, Shandong Province.

On December 7, 2006, practitioner Ms. Wang Hui from Jiawang Region in Xuzhou City in Jiangsu Province was working at the cosmetics counter in the Jiawang Department Store. Because someone lost money, all the employees were searched by the Department Manager. Their bags were searched, too. This is illegal under existing law. Truth-clarification CDs were discovered in Ms. Wang Hui's bag. She was taken to the Laokuang Police Station. Police from the Laokuang Police Station arrested her. She was sentenced to 15 days at Dinglou Forced Labor Camp in Xuzhou City on December 8, 2006.

Practitioner Mr. Chen Xiwen, over 60, retired from Jinzai County Department Store in Liu'an City, Anhui Province. He was arrested by police on October 8, 2006. After being detained for a month at the Jinzai County Detention Center, police extorted 10,000 yuan from him before releasing him.

Practitioner Ms. Hu Hongzhi, over 60, was arrested at 6 p.m. on October 21, 2006. She was detained at the Jinzai County Detention Center. She was released on November 16, 2006, after police extorted 10,000 yuan from her.

Practitioner Mr. Xiao Yinfu was detained at the Jinzai County Detention Center for four months without due cause. She was then sentenced to three years in prison in November 2006.

Police arrested practitioners Ms. Zhang Yulian and Ms. Li Yuxia from the An'ning District in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, and took them to the Longjiawan Brainwashing Center in Lanzhou City on September 8, 2006. Refusing to cooperate, Ms. Li Yuxia was taken to the Yuzhong Drug Treatment Center in Gansu Province for further torture. Ms. Zhang Yulian is still at the brainwashing center due to heart disease symptoms.

On the evening of December 7, 2006, police arrested four practitioners from the Yinchuan Region in Ningxia Province at a material production site. They were: Mr. Zhao Yuhu, Mr. Cai Guojun, Ms. Jiang Hongying, and Mr. Zhang Xiaoping.

Police arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang Siyi from Hanyang City in Hubei Province on October 27, 2006. He is imprisoned at the Taojialing Brainwashing Center in Hanyang City.

Practitioner Ms. He Sifeng from Yanbu Village in the Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, was taken to Sanshui Forced Labor Camp in Guangdong Province for a year of forced labor in 2001.

On the morning of December 5, 2006, Ms. He Sifeng was arrested by police when distributing truth-clarification materials. She is imprisoned at the Nanhai District Detention Center in Foshan City.

Practitioner Mr. Wang Jiding was sentenced to four years in prison. He was imprisoned at the Hengyang City Number One Detention Center in Hunan Province and scheduled to be taken to Deshan Prison in Changde City, Hunan Province, on December 10, 2006. It was rumored that all practitioners in Hunan Province were to be taken to Deshan Prison.

Police from the Chengjiang Police Station in Mei County arrested veteran practitioner Mr. Lai Jinfu from Mei County in Guangdong Province when he was walking on the street. His home was ransacked. He is still detained by police.

Police arrested practitioners Ms. Huang Xiaojun and Mr. Yu Jinqing from Zhaoqing City in Guangdong Province for clarifying the truth to people on December 6, 2006. They are currently detained at the Gaoyao City Detention Center in Guangdong Province.

On December 4, 2006, police from Jiang'an County Police Department in Yibin City in Sichuan Province broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Gu Niang, 78. They arrested her and seven practitioners that were at her home. Ms. Gu Niang was secretly taken to Jian'an County and her whereabouts is unknown.

Practitioner Ms. Yan Fuming from Luojiang County, Deyang City, Sichuan Province, was 53 years old. To avoid being taken to a brainwashing center in August 2003, she became homeless and went into hiding. Her company, Luojiang County Resin Factory, stopped her pension payments after September 2003. When Ms. Yan Fuming returned to her company to ask for her pension on December 7, 2006, the human resources manager called the State Security Team in Luojiang County Police Department. She was arrested by police from the State Security Team and detained at the Deyang Detention Center for 15 days.

On January 16 and 17, 2006, practitioners Ms. Lan Shurong and Mr. Xiang Lizuo from Zhongjiang County in Sichuan Province were reported to police and arrested when distributing truth-clarification materials. They are imprisoned at the Zhongjiang County Detention Center. Ms. Lan Shurong, Ms. Deng Zhihui, and Ms. Xu Qiugui are appealing and have asked to be acquitted.

In August 2005, practitioner Ms. Yang Yuying was arrested and taken to the Yubei District Detention Center in Chongqing City for hosting practitioners who had left home to go into hiding. She was released after the police had extorted money from her family. A few months ago, her mother, also a practitioner, came to her home to hide. Because of that, police arrested Ms. Yang Yuying again and sentenced her to three and half years in prison.

On December 4, 2006, policemen Pi Jianjun and others broke into the home of practitioner Mr. Gu Chuanlin, an employee of the Medium Density Fiberboard Factory of Jinhe Forestry Bureau in Genhe City in Inner Mongolia. They arrested practitioner Mr. Yang Zhenhuan and took him to the Jinhe Police Station. They deceived Mr. Gu Chuanlin into going to the police station where they arrested him. Mr. Yang Zhenhuan was able to escape from the police station. Mr. Gu Chuanlin is still detained. Police confiscated his computer, CDs, and printer paper.

Around 10 p.m. on December 7, 2006, police from the Juejia Police Station in Nancong City arrested practitioner Mr. Yang Yongzhong from the Eighth Village in Qinshui Township in the Gaoping District, Nancong City, Sichuan Province, for distributing truth-clarification materials.

On November 27, 2006, over ten policemen from the Xiangyang Region Police Station in Liaoyuan City in Jilin Province and the State Security Bridgade of the Liaoyuan City Police Department ransacked the home of 57-year-old practitioner Ms. Xie Lianchun at the Xiangyang Region Government Residential Area. They confiscated many Dafa books and truth-clarification materials. Ms. Xie and her non-practitioner husband were arrested. The computer and software that belonged to their child was also confiscated. Ms. Xie was put into a detention Center at 5 p.m. and then sent to a forced labor camp for a year.

Practitioners Mr. Fan Ming and Ms. Gao Xiuli have been imprisoned at the Tieling County Detention Center in Liaoning Province since police arrested them on September 13, 2006. The Tieling County Court had scheduled a trial on December 10, 2006.
