Recently the forced labor camp in Huludao City Liaoning Province persecuted detained Dafa practitioners around the clock. They used electric shocks and violent beatings to try to force practitioners to give up their beliefs. Dafa practitioners there were in the danger of losing their lives at any time.

At about 3 a.m. on September 20, 2006, Dafa practitioner Jin Sheng who was detained in the No. 1 Division of the Daqing Prison, was practicing the Falun Gong exercises when the chief of the prison political section Fu Xuelin discovered him. Deputy section chief Wang Jiaren then put him into a solitary cell, tied him into an iron chair and tortured him. To date, he is still detained.

On July 14, 2006, Dong Liang from the Chunhai Police Station sent Ms. Wang Xiaoyan to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. She was illegally sentenced to two years in the forced labor camp.

Dafa practitioner Zhang Lei has been detained in the custodial station in Changling City for forty-five days. The custodial station didn't allow her family members to visit her. They threatened the family that Zhang Lei would be sentenced to one year in the forced labor camp.

On the morning of September 15, 2006, Dafa practitioner Xu Zhonglin from Qiaojia Village, Shuangmiaozi Town, Changtu County, Liaoning Province was distributing truth-clarifying materials in Cilu Town when he was reported to the police. Officers from Cilu Police Station and Shuangmiaozi Police Station failed to seize Xu Zhonglin on the spot. They hurried to his home, but didn't find him. They arrested his wife, a non-practitioner and took her to the Shuangmiaozi Police Station. They fined his wife and his son 1,500 yuan for not reporting Xu Zhonglin to the police and released his wife later. The police are monitoring them near their home.

On September 20, 2006, Dafa practitioners Ms. Su Guiqin, Ms. Li Guiqin and Ms. Yang from Beiwujiazi Village, Xiaertai Township, Changtu County, Liaoning Province were distributing truth-clarifying materials in Hongjia Village when they were reported to the police. Li Guiqin managed to walk away free, but she couldn't go home and had to go from place to place. Ms. Yang was illegally fined 3,000 yuan and was released on the spot. Su Guiqin was taken to the police station. The police then raided her home and confiscated Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials. They took her son Yuan Zhongxiang into custody and beat him viciously, resulting in his face being covered with blood. Then the mother and son were taken to Tieling City where they were persecuted.

At about 10 p.m. on September 1, 2006, Dafa practitioners Ms. Guo Jungu and Mr. Cui Xiaowu from Li County, Hebei Province were distributing truth-clarifying materials when they were reported to the police. They have been detained in the custodial station in Li County for nearly one month. Their family members are not allowed to see them. Recently their families received phone calls saying that they could be released if they paid 10,000 yuan. So each family borrowed 8,000 yuan. The money was taken about five or six days ago, but the practitioners have not yet been released. It is said that they may be sent to the forced labor camp.

On the evening of September 20, 2006, Dafa practitioner Ms. Tian Dongmei was on her way to the Anzhuang Market to put up Falun Gong posters when the police from the Chu'an Police station who were on duty arrested her. Ms. Li Li, in her fifties, was a professor in a law-related institute in Beijing. In a women's prison in Beijing several prisoners with criminal charges took turns torturing her. She was forced to stand for 14 days without any sleep. One month later she was sent back to the prison area. Her legs were badly swollen and she was unable to sleep at night because of the pain.

At about 11 a.m. on September 20, 2006, police officers from the Hedong Police Station illegally arrested five Dafa pracititoners. The practitioners were Ms. Han, Ms. Liu, Ms. Shen, Ms. Wu and Ms. Yang.

Ms. Tian Yuexian, in her thirties, was an employee of the Mining Bureau in Jincheng City, Shanxi Province. In July 2000, she went to Beijing to validate the Fa and was arrested and taken to the local custodial station. She was detained there. Because of the severe persecution she contracted rectal cancer. The illness became more and more severe and she had great difficulty having bowel movements. She became emaciated. But after she resumed the practice of Falun Gong, she started to recover quickly. Eventually she was able to go back to work again.

On March 2, 2006, a big raid was conducted in Jincheng Area. Tian Yuexian was illegally arrested and her home was searched. However, she managed to walk free with righteous thoughts and returned home.

At about 6 p.m. on July 22, 2006, a gang of policemen broke into her home and arrested her again. She has been illegally detained in the local custodial station since then.

Fifty-year-old Ms. Gui Rong is a Dafa practitioner from Anqiu, Weifang City, Shandong Province. She is a retired employee of the Anqiu Glass Factory. On the night of September 24, 2006, she was arrested when she was clarifying the truth in Hongshagou Town, Anqiu.

Recently, the Xinkaipu Labor Camp in Changsha City inhumanly persecuted Dafa practitioners. For those Dafa practitioners who refused to be "transformed", the camp did not allow them to sleep for a long time and instigated other prisoners to beat them.

Ms. Zhu Qiyu and Ms. Tang Buying are Dafa practitioners from Liangping, Chongqing City. On April 30, 2006, they were reported by Zhu Zhanren in the local area and taken away to the Town Hall. They were released about 9 p.m. that night. However, Zhu Zhanren reported them to the Chongqing City Police Department. On May 3, the Chongqing City Police Department and the local police station sentenced Ms. Zhu Qiyu and Ms. Tang Buying to one and half years of forced labor and the sentence was effective three days later. On that day, the two practitioners were forced to become destitute and homeless in order to avoid being sent to the labor camp.

On the night of August 17, the two practitioners were arrested one after another. The truth-clarification materials and the book Zhuan Falun in Tang Buying's home were confiscated. Ms. Zhu was handcuffed to a tree for several hours. Her hands bled due to the torture. That night, they were sent to the Xisanping Labor Camp in Chongqing City.

Currently, about 20 Dafa pracititioners from Mianyang City are detained, including Ms. Li Hongyan, Ms. Song Xiaolan, Ms. Zheng Linghua, Ms. Li Suhua and Ms. Xu Ming. Some of them have been sent to labor camps or prisons.

Ms. Li Suhua's husband suffered full paralysis and died when his wife was detained. Ms. Zhou Qingxiu's husband was implicated and lost his job. The family of three people live on 160 yuan allowance per month. Mr. Liang Guanqin was forced to become destitute and homeless in order to avoid being arrested at home.

Dafa practitioner Mr. Zou Zhi lives in Apt. 11-10, 3 Zhengyi Road, Anjing Town, Pi County, Chengdu City. On the afternoon of November 31, 2005, he was arrested when he distributed truth-clarification materials at the mall. Afterwards, his home was searched. That night, he was detained in the Mengzhuiwan Police Station. The next day, he was sent to the Chengdu City Detention Center, where he is still being detained.
