Children of Persecuted Dafa Practitioners Forced to Live in Misery

(Clearwisdom.net) These children live in misery. Their parents were either illegally sentenced to prison, placed in mental hospitals, or forced into homelessness because they practice Falun Gong. They have prematurely lost the care and nurturing only a parent can provide and now live a cold, bitter life.

(Clearwisdom.net) Bo Xilai, Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (PRC), is accompanying the Chairman of the PRC to visit Canada; Xia Deren, Mayor of Dalian and Deputy Governor of Liaoning Province, is expected to visit Canada on a separate trip next month. Both Bo Xilai's and Xia Deren's names are on the list of 45 perpetrators of torture and other crimes against humanity against Falun Gong practitioners in China, submitted to the War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity Program in September 2003 and January, 2004. On August 26, the Falun Dafa Association of Canada held a press conference and called for the Canadian government to deny Bo and Xia entry into the country. Mr. David Kilgour, Canadian senior Member of Parliament and former Chairman of Foreign Human Rights Committee in Parliament participated in the press conference.

Ms. Dong Jingya in Critical Condition: Masanjia Labor Camp Blocks News and Continues to Persecute Her

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Dong Jingya, a building designer and a Falun Gong practitioner from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, participated in rescuing fellow practitioner Ms. Gao Rongrong. She was arrested for her role in aiding Gao Rongrong, who was herself later arrested again, and tortured to death. Ms. Dong went on hunger strike to resist the persecution in Masanjia Labor Camp. So far, it has been nearly four months and she is now in critical condition. The authorities at Masanjia said Ms. Dong is still fasting and added, "Absolutely do not allow her to see visitors."
