Persecution Intensified as Hundreds of Practitioners at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp Declare Their Resolve to Continue Practicing Falun Gong

(Clearwisdom.net) At the end of 2004, most illegally detained Falun Gong practitioners in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp submitted a statement to the center, denouncing the center's "transformation" tactics and declaring null and void the previous statement they signed under high pressure to give up the practice of Falun Gong. The detention center was very frightened and carried out a policy of "Separate Management" to persecute the practitioners more severely.

Details of How Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Hongde Was Persecuted to Death

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Wang Hongde died as a result of persecution at the Daqing City's Hongweixing Prison on May 14, 2005.

Mr. Wang Hongde, 56, was an employee of the Xinhua Power Generation Plant in Datong District, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. He started practicing Falun Gong in 1997. After the persecution started in July 1999, Mr. Wang persisted in his belief. The Datong District police unlawfully detained him twice, for fifteen days each time, in March 2000 and February 2001. After being released from the second detention, Mr. Wang decided to leave his hometown.

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Kong Fanrong, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shulan City, Jilin Province, and her family have been suffering persecution from since 1999. On May 11, 2003, Kong Fanrong died due to torture she received in detention. Her husband, Bian Hongxiang, was arrested in March 2005. By the time he returned home, he was nearly dead from torture. Their daughter, Bian Lingyun, was arrested at the end of July.
