Eutelsat's Decision to Terminate NTDTV's Transmissions to China Causes Public Outcry (Photos)

( According to a report by the Epoch Times on the 16th March, New York-based New Tang Dynasty TV (NTDTV) and Reporters Without Borders held a joint press conference in Brussels on the afternoon of March 15, condemning the European satellite operator Eutelsat's decision not to renew the contract under which independent, Chinese-language broadcaster NTDTV uses Eutelsat satellites to broadcast to China and the rest of Asia.

Geneva, Switzerland: Anti-Torture Exhibition Held Outside the United Nations Building during the UN Human Rights Commission Meeting (Photos)

( On March 14, 2005, the annual United Nations Human Rights Commission (UNHRC) opened in Geneva. Due to construction work underway in Geneva Square, large-scale activities could not be held this year. Still, Dafa practitioners in Switzerland applied to use a corner of the construction site to hold an anti-torture exhibition on the afternoon of March 16. They exposed the Chinese Communist Party's atrocious persecution of Falun Gong practitioners to the people taking part in the UNHRC.

Practitioners Hold Anti-torture Exhibit During Malaysia Bar Association's Annual Meeting (Photos)

( On March 19, 2005, the Malaysia Bar Association held its annual meeting at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur. In order to let more lawyers learn the truth, practitioners in Malaysia held an anti-torture exhibit at the hotel to expose the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China by the Chinese Communist Party and Jiang's faction. Practitioners reenacted some of the tortures used on Falun Gong practitioners in China. This is the second time that practitioners in Malaysia have held an anti-torture exhibit.
