(Clearwisdom.net) Five years ago, on July 20 1999, Jiang Zemin's regime started the nationwide persecution of Falun Gong practitioners who persist to their belief in "Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance". In one night, thousands of practitioners were deprived their freedom to belief and their basic human rights. Over the last five years, practitioners have continued to follow the principles of "Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance", resist the persecution peacefully, and clarify truth to the people. There are over 1006 practitioners had been tortured to death or murdered during the persecution.

To commemorate this solemn occasion, Indonesia Falun Dafa Association held a parade to peacefully appeal and an anti-torture exhibit to expose Jiang's group's brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. The parade set off from the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia and concluded outside the Indonesia Hotel opposite a fountain in downtown Jakarta. The route was five kilometers.

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 18, 2004, more than 200 Falun Gong practitioners in Hong Kong conducted a group practice outside the Immigration Office and then held a parade, marching till the Chinese Liaison Office, calling upon the government and people to help stop and end Jiang's group's five-year horrific persecution of Falun Gong. In the afternoon, a group of practitioners held an anti-torture exhibit in a special zone for pedestrians in busy Causeway Bay, attracting a stream of people passing by to watch. Many people were shocked and condemned the inhuman persecution.
