Fifth Anniversary of Counteracting Persecution -- San Francisco Holds "Peaceful Journey of Falun Dafa" Poster Exhibition and Anti-Torture Demonstration (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Clearwisdom Net correspondent Wang Ying reports from San Francisco ¨C On July 17, Falun Gong practitioners from San Francisco held "Peaceful Journey of Falun Dafa" poster exhibition and anti-torture demonstration in the Garden Corner Park of San Francisco's Chinatown to expose the Jiang group's systematic persecution of Falun Gong over the past five years. Practitioners called upon all kind-hearted people to come together to stop this persecution and bring the chief perpetrator Jiang who initiated this persecution and his accomplices to justice.

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 18, 2004, nearly 300 Falun Gong practitioners around Sydney, Australia staged the 5th anniversary of "July 20" anti-persecution parade. The purpose was to expose the Jiang group's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, to commemorate and remember fellow practitioners who have died from the suppression, to condemn Jiang's group for hiring thugs to shoot Falun Gong practitioners in South Africa, and to call upon Australian people from all walks of life to work together to stop Jiang's group from exporting its state-run terrorism to overseas and to bring Jiang to justice.

(Clearwisdom.net) Five years ago, on July 20 1999, Jiang Zemin's regime started the nationwide persecution of Falun Gong practitioners who persist to their belief in "Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance". In one night, thousands of practitioners were deprived their freedom to belief and their basic human rights. Over the last five years, practitioners have continued to follow the principles of "Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance", resist the persecution peacefully, and clarify truth to the people. There are over 1006 practitioners had been tortured to death or murdered during the persecution.
