(Clearwisdom.net) This is a true story about a woman who thought of herself as a Buddhist. The woman came into touch with Falun Dafa for a dozen days or so. She read Zhuan Falun (the main teachings of Falun Dafa) once, practiced the exercises for 3 consecutive days, and experienced miraculous changes in her body. She said, "This is a great practice! Too bad I found out about it just now."

The woman is in her 50's. She uses a secret acupuncture method that has been passed down in her family to treat patients. She has made quite a good income from it. Although her skills are great, she can't heal herself. She has had high blood pressure for many years. She's always dizzy and needs medicine with her at all times. Her stomach is swollen as if she's a few months pregnant. Her waist feels tight even when wearing pants with a 55-inch waist. She's well built but weak, and needs to take a break while going up stairs. She has to pull her legs up to climb over tall doorsills. She always thought that it's because she's too fat, and that it's not a sickness. Whenever she applied acupuncture to herself it helped somewhat, but her stomach would quickly become swollen again. She also frequently got ulcers in her mouth.

When practitioners first told her about Falun Dafa she wasn't interested. She thought that what she practiced was the best, and that it was a genuine Buddha cultivation method. She also thought that if she changed to another method it would be a betrayal of her first practice. We told her a lot of cultivation stories, but she never picked up the practice.

When she started to read Zhuan Falun, she became very serious. As she read she kept on saying, "This is so good! Now I understand." She wanted to practice. Even though her movements weren't perfect she experienced great changes in her body. She no longer felt dizzy, and her blood pressure normalized. The ulcers vanished from her mouth as well, and her stomach significantly decreased in size. Whenever she talked to others, she would pull in her waist, look at her stomach, and laugh.

One night her neck and legs were burning. When she got up they were fine. Since that night she could walk vigorously. She climbed a 280-step path up a mountain. She was delighted. Her period came back after 4 years of absence. This is so unlike how she used to be!

She told these experiences to her friends and relatives, so that they could share this happiness with her.
