A Statement by Hong Kong Falun Gong Practitioners Regarding Hong Kong Government's planned "Anti-Subversion Law": The nature of the "Anti-Subversion Law" is a means of violating the human rights and suppressing Falun Gong as well as other peaceful groups. Jiang's regime can use such a law to extend its tyranny to Hong Kong. Hong Kong should not allow such laws and policies to exist, which may assist or encourage the tyranny of Jiang and other similar dictators. Any laws under the dictatorship of a tyranny, though seemingly reasonable on the surface, may be used to suppress human rights, such as when the law forbidding the blocking of a street, which had originally been proposed to deal with peddlers, was recently used to persecute Falun Gong practitioners who were peacefully appealing, though they did not block any street at all.
