Shenli Lin's Statement: Truth and Righteousness Will Not Be Defeated

I was not broken down and my faith in Falun Dafa was not shaken. ... However, I must make clear that I in no way acknowledge or accept all of the evil things that were done to me and the crimes that continue to be carried out under President Jiang Zemin in this persecution of Falun Gong--they are wicked and shameful. Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong is against China's own constitution--it is illegal.

Falun Dafa Practitioner Xiao Jinsong of Jilin province Tortured to Death

Xiao Jinsong, male, was a steadfast Falun Dafa practitioner from Jilin City, Jilin Province. At the beginning of October 2000, he left for Beijing to peacefully appeal and was captured, illegally sentenced, and detained in a labor camp. Since he refused to renounce Falun Dafa, or to write a 'repentance' letter, or to even cooperate with the evil, they brutally tortured him. To defy and resist this persecution, he went on a hunger strike in protest. The police in the labor camp meted out inhuman tortures upon him until he was on the verge of death.
