Declaration from the French Green Party: Falun Gong Practitioners, You Can Count on Our Permanent Support!

We address this declaration to the Association Falun Gong France on the occasion of the Fourth Asia Europe Summit in Copenhagen. The French Green Party strongly condemns Jiang Zemin's inhuman persecution of the practitioners of Falun Gong, a popular holistic movement whose actions are non-political and peaceful. We express our compassion and our sympathy for those millions of Chinese citizens who suffer from the State terrorism and killing madness of dictator Jiang Zemin.

Female Dafa Practitioner Zhang Yiqin from Beihan Village, Laiyuan County Tortured to Death at the Baoding Labor Camp, Hebei Province

Because she firmly validated Dafa, practitioner Zhang Yiqin from Beihan Village, Laiyuan County, Hebei Province, was twice illegally sentenced to a forced labor camp by the Public Security Bureau and the "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) in Laiyuan County. She was detained for a total of over two years. While she was in the Baoding Labor Camp, she began a hunger strike to protest the illegal persecution. The labor camp force-fed her with something harmful that caused her to vomit blood and become critically ill. To avoid responsibility, the labor camp let her family take her home, but Zhang Yiqin died a few days later on September 11, 2002.

Copenhagen: Practitioners Dispel Interference at a Press Conference

From September 18^th through the 24^th, governments from around the world participated in a series of international conferences that took place in Copenhagen. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) also held many activities. Falun Gong held a press conference on the afternoon of September 21^st. Nearly forty people attended. Dai Zhizhen and Zhao Ming described the persecution that they and their families endured in China. A video entitled "An Appeal to the World" was then shown.
