Fa-Rectification Period Dafa Disciples

A Dafa disciple who fails to achieve the effect of safeguarding and upholding Dafa has no way of reaching Consummation, because your cultivation is different from that of the past and the future. Therein lies the magnificence of a Dafa disciple. Since Master has borne for you almost everything in history, during the Fa-rectification period, disciples must not depart until the Fa-rectification is over. So your meeting the standard for your own Consummation during the course of your cultivation becomes an important process.

Series Report I: Hunger Strike in Front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington DC

On Friday afternoon, August 17, 2001, six Falun Gong practitioners from Georgia, Alabama and Washington D.C. began a hunger strike in front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington D.C. The purpose of this action is to support the 130 practitioners who have been on hunger strike in China' Masanjia Labor Camp for nearly 20 days, to strongly protest the detention of practitioners beyond the limits of their sentences, and to expose the Chinese government' complete disregard for human life and their unwillingness to punish law enforcement officials who violate the law. They are requesting the immediate release of imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Reuters: Falun Gong Members Launch Washington Hunger Strike

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Eight followers of the Falun Gong spiritual movement have launched a hunger strike in front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington, appealing for the release of practitioners held by Beijing, organizers said on Saturday.

(Clearwisdom.net) On August 18, the hunger strike held by eight practitioners from Georgia, Alabama and Washington D.C. was into its second day. The purpose of the hunger strike is to seek justice and support for the 130 Falun Gong practitioners at China' Masanjia Labor Camp, who started a group hunger strike 19 days ago. The eight practitioners spent the day listening to the taped lectures of Master Li and sharing experiences with each other. They also gave an interview to a reporter from Reuters at around noon.
