Inspirations from the Geneva Falun Dafa Conference (Excerpt)

Although the Geneva Falun Dafa conference was held for only two days, I benefited a lot during this period. I would like to sort out some of my shallow thoughts and exchange them with my fellow practitioners.

[Re-post] On The Other Side

It has been regulated that I am not permitted to find a short cut to climb over the mountain in front of me. Initially, I did not know why, but as soon as I understood it I found the shortest way is the one settled. I saw bushes and grasses on both side of that path, a rather steep slope. However, one is able to endure what is hard to endure, and one is able to do what is impossible to do. At most, it makes one hard and tired, one will finally reach the top. All are examined again and again before entering this cultivation school, not everybody is able to endure this kind of test. As you have already entered the door, and then it is required to let go the attachments to this world as soon as possible. One' virtue is created by one' own cultivation.

Falun Dafa Introduction at Beltsville, Maryland

May 21 was the annual Beltsville Day of Beltsville City, Maryland. We did not know about this until the evening of May 17. We thought it might be a good opportunity for us to introduce Falun Dafa to the people in that city during the festival. The next day, May 18, a practitioner went to the related department to check out if it would be possible for us to demonstrate the Falun Dafa exercises at the festival. Surprisingly, the procedure went through very well, just as it had been pre-arranged. The officers gladly offered us permission to demonstrate the Falun Dafa exercises both indoors and outdoors. They even did some arranging for us.
