European and American Practitioners Propose to Proclaim May 13th as "World Falun Dafa Day"

Respected overseas fellow practitioners,

In the month of May eight years ago, our Teacher started imparting Falun Dafa to the general public, and henceforth started a new chapter in the history of the purification of mankind' heart and soul, cleaning-up of the universe, and reconstruction of the entire cosmos.

From Yesterday to Forever

A year ago, many Falun Gong practitioners went to Zhongnanhai to appeal to the Chinese central government for the facts on Tianjin, where police beat and arrested peaceful Falun Gong practitioners. They made three requests: 1) Release those innocent practitioners arrested in Tianjin. 2) Lift the ban on publishing and distributing of Falun Dafa books in China. 3) Allow a legal and non-hostile environment for practicing Falun Dafa in China.

A Notice to Collect Worldwide Activity Schedules of the "World Falun Dafa Day"

Since the advocacy to name May 13 as the "World Falun Dafa Day" has been posted, which is proposed by the Falun Dafa practitioners in North America and Europe, it has invoked enthusiastic responses from all over the world. Recently, suggestions and discussion comments continually received by the Minghui editor express one common wish that this world wide celebration activity needs to be held successfully. The purpose of the activity is to gain support from more governments and people in the world; help practitioners in China to strive for their rights of freedom of belief and the legality for cultivation and practice; let more people in the world learn about the tremendous change in physical condition and mental status that Falun Dafa has brought to over 100 million people in the past eight years; share with more people about the mental wealth and ultimate hope that Falun Dafa intends to bring to human beings; and let more practitioners further upgrade themselves through the course of planning and holding the activities.
