During the "Two Sessions" (National People's Congress Session and Political Consultative Conference Session) held at the beginning of this March, I decided to contact the representatives from Shanghai City in order to let them know the injustice against Falun Gong practitioners. On the afternoon of March 7, two fellow practitioners, who came from Da-lian City and Qing-dao City respectively, and I arrived at the Beijing Guo-yi Hotel where the representatives stayed. Many police officers were guarding outside the Hotel. We walked directly to the reception room of the Hotel.

An officer from the meeting affair office received us. We gave the officer some materials on how practitioners were mistreated in custody. After glancing at it for a while, the officer sighed, "Ah, how bad it is!" We told the officer, "There are numerous cases that are worse than these. These are only a tiny part." The officer asked us, "Why haven't you reported these facts to the authorities?" "We have tried all possible means in order to report these facts to the authorities. Practitioners went to many appealing offices such as the Central Appealing Office and the State's Appealing Office, but they were all detained. We just cannot do it", we said. The officer then said, "Please do not worry. Here is where representatives stay. The police will not interfere." We three were moved to tears.

At around 2:30pm, the officer said, "The representatives should be able to meet with you." When the officer was calling the representatives, the police broke into. "Are you Falun Gong practitioners? Go with us!" The police seized away the materials and took us to the Zhan-lan Road Police Station. The officer could not do anything to help us.

Later, I was transferred to the Dong-cheng Police Station and got detained for the accusation of "disturbing social orders". Another two practitioners were escorted back to their hometowns.
