(Minghui.org) Over a thousand Falun Gong practitioners from more than 30 European countries held two parades in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, on September 19, 2026. The first parade started at Prague Castle and ended at Old Town Square. The procession then set out again from the square and made its way through the historic city center.
“A very friendly parade—just as impressive as the music,” exclaimed Sarah from London as she watched practitioners dressed in bright yellow in central Prague. “It is such a striking color. I could see them clearly from far away.” She added that, if permitted, she would be “more than happy to join the parade.”

Sarah and Christopher from London liked the parade. Sarah said, “Very peaceful and welcome. I wish to join if I have a yellow T-shirt.”
“Very beautiful, everyone is beautiful,” said Christopher. After he learned that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) had persecuted Falun Gong practitioners for 27 years because of their belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, he said, “This is unbelievable.”
Sarah said that “these matters are important” and that the events organized by Falun Gong practitioners across Europe are meaningful and can prompt people to reflect.
Polish Tourists Like Falun Gong

Anna and her whole family watched the parade. She said, “Peaceful. Very positive energy.” She said it was hard to describe the feeling, “Calm, tranquility, something like this. Joy, love, free spirit.”
After learning about Falun Gong’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, she said, “The key to happiness.”
For Anna, who is from Poland, a former communist country, it is not hard to understand why the CCP persecutes Falun Gong. “I think they [the CCP] should stop the persecution. But, sadly, you can’t practice Falun Gong or anything else. It should be a human choice, a free human choice. A repressive government forbids something like this. It’s unbelievable.”
She said, “We should be free. We should believe in what we want to believe. We should practice what we want to practice, especially the good ones.”
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Are Core Values

Jan Ole was participating in his company’s biennial trip, and he and his colleagues were happy to the see practitioners’ parades. He said, “We’re having some fun here too, of course—that goes without saying. But meeting people like you is wonderful, too. It’s a lovely encounter.”
About Falun Gong, he said, “It’s a good organization. It’s committed to great goals—what you’re doing is wonderful. Ultimately, it’s about world peace. And I think that’s great.
“A really powerful impression. The people here are moving forward in peace. They want a better world and want to draw attention to the issues. It’s really important that things are done this way—everything you’re doing together.”
He said that Falun Gong’s principles “are universal human values. They’re important themes. What’s happening in the world right now isn’t necessary. It’s terrible. We need to get back to those values.”
He wanted to make a donation to Falun Gong practitioners. A practitioner told him that Falun Gong is taught free across the world, and that donations are not accepted.
When hearing about the CCP’s persecution and state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting, he said, “It’s an assault on humanity. It’s completely unacceptable. It’s truly terrible. Theft, robbery—the whole works. I have no words for it. I’m absolutely speechless about what’s going on there.”
He added, “Anyone who carries this deep in their heart cannot comprehend what is happening—and simply has no words for it. What you have to witness—what you are out there dealing with—it is truly heartbreaking.”
He said at the end, “We are left with hope and faith. Yes, but then there is politics—global politics—and they aren’t approaching this the right way. I’m sorry to say it, but yes. And unfortunately, that isn’t something that can be changed quickly. People would do it in a heartbeat—from the bottom of their hearts.”
Jan wished practitioners all the best, and he and his colleagues were delighted to accept the flyers and cheered for the parade as it passed. They even clapped along to the beat of the Tian Guo Marching Band’s drums.
People learned about Falun Gong and signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution. (Minghui.org)
