Saving People Regardless of Title or Social Level

(Minghui.org) I moved into this villa community 10 years ago. The residents are either government officials, business people, or wealthy individuals and their families—whereas I’m an ordinary retired worker. I always felt that these people valued fame and profit, are aloof, and it would be difficult for them to accept the facts about Falun Dafa. This caused a psychological barrier for me to clarify the truth to them and help save them. I felt that talking about Falun Dafa to them could be dangerous if someone reported me, so for a long time I only tried to present myself as a good person, feeling that I should pave the way for mentioning the persecution.

I had heard from a practitioner that a retired bureau chief from an important unit lived in my community, and he would not accept the facts about Dafa. As a practitioner during the Fa-rectification period, I understood that I must do well the three things that Master has entrusted me with. I should not differentiate people by their social status when clarifying the truth and offering them salvation.

Through studying the Fa and talking with other practitioners, I realized that I had fear and acquired notions about social standing, which I should break free from. Only by doing that, could I save people. I was determined to save that bureau chief. But of course, I knew that I should not be hasty either. Since he didn’t accept it when a practitioner directly explained the facts about Dafa to him, I thought that I would take a different approach.

Therefore, when we interacted with each other, I always measured my words and actions against the standard of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. We gradually developed a closer relationship, and my notion of social standing was also eliminated. The time was ripe to clarify the truth to him and his family.

One day, I naturally told this former bureau chief and his wife the facts about Dafa, about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) impending doom, and the importance of withdrawing from the CCP for safety. The conversation went smoothly and they didn’t show any adverse reactions. Instead, the bureau chief said to me, “I see you are a truly good person, and I trust you.” He then added, “My wife is also a Party member.” I said, “Then withdraw together.” They agreed. I was truly happy for them and sincerely grateful for Master’s strengthening. Afterward, with Master’s help, I told many people in my community the facts about Dafa and helped them withdraw from the CCP.

Not long ago, my husband and I were invited to visit the home of one of his university classmates. The classmate is a high-ranking official in the local government. We live almost worlds apart and haven’t kept in touch. Our two families had never met. I knew I would definitely tell them the facts about Dafa, but I was also a little hesitant. I knew that I would likely never have the chance to see them again. Master told us,

“In Fa-Rectification Your Thoughts Have to Be Righteous, Not Human” (“In Fa-Rectification Your Thoughts Have to Be Righteous, Not Human,” The Essentials of Diligent Progress III).

I asked Master again to strengthen me. I really wanted to seize this rare opportunity to save them.

We arrived in the evening. After we met, I handed them the three articles that Master published for all sentient beings in the world: “How Humankind Came To Be,” “Why the Creator Seeks to Save All Life,” and “Why This World Is a Realm of Unknowing.” I asked them to read them carefully and to keep them safe.

The next day at breakfast, the classmate’s wife said to me, “I read it last night. Let’s have a good talk about it when we have time.” After lunch, I saw that she and her close friend were not taking a nap, so I went over to them.

She said to me, “Please tell me your understanding.” I first talked about traditional culture, and then I told them the facts about Falun Dafa. They talked about the pervasive corruption within the CCP system and expressed their relief that they were retired and no longer contaminated by the corruption. When we talked about “Heaven will eliminate the CCP, and quitting the CCP for one's safety,” they both said it was good (that the CCP would be eliminated) and gladly agreed to quit. I once again thanked Master for his compassionate strengthening.

After I returned home and talked with other practitioners, I realized the urgency of the Fa-rectification process. Seeing the eagerness of sentient beings waiting for salvation, I saw that I didn’t do enough before because of my attachment to fear and my notions of social levels. From now on, I will make more effort to study the Fa well, upgrade my character, do more to clarify the truth to save people, make up for what I didn’t do well before, fulfill my vows, and return home with Master.
