(Minghui.org) The skies were clear, and it was a lovely early summer’s day as Falun Dafa practitioners gathered in Asakusa, a well-known tourist destination in Tokyo, on May 10, 2026, to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day with activities that included a parade. World Falun Dafa Day falls on May 13 and is also the birthday of the founder Mr. Li Hongzhi. There were many tourists along the parade route. Residents and tourists from all over the world stopped to watch, and people smiled and waved. Some recorded the moment with photos taken using cameras and mobile phones. A tourist from China exclaimed, “If everyone followed Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, how beautiful the world would be.”
Practitioners held a parade in Asakusa, Tokyo on May 10, 2026, to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day.
The parade began at Hanakawado park at 1:30 p.m accompanied by uplifting, majestic music from the Tian Guo marching band. Holding colorful banners with messages like “Celebrating May 13 World Falun Dafa Day,” “Falun Dafa is Practiced All Over the World,” “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” in multiple languages, the contingent marched in unison for over an hour, passing by Asakusa temple and the busy surrounding areas.
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Is Indispensable
Emmanuel from Mexico agrees with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
Mr. Emmanuel, who is from Mexico, expressed deep resonance with the principles of Falun Gong, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, after hearing a practitioner explain what the spiritual practice is about. He said, “These are universal values. It has nothing to do with nationality or birthplace. It is indispensable to everyone in today’s world.”
Mr. Michael from England said that Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are especially important in modern society.

Martin from the UK, who passed by the starting point of the parade, said he had heard of Falun Gong a long time ago, and praised Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance for being “irreplaceable values, they are important to the whole of humanity.” He expressed deep resonance with the principles taught in Falun Gong.
Anna from Germany said Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are wonderful and noble values.
Anna from Germany praised the principles, saying, “They are wonderful and noble values.” She also showed great interest in the parade and highly commended practitioners’ efforts: “People gather for a common belief, this itself is a great thing.”
Ms. Huang from Taiwan felt a positive energy from practitioners marching in the parade.
Ms. Huang, a tourist from Taiwan, has seen Falun Dafa parades on many occasions. She said, “I can feel positive energy. [Falun Dafa] is an excellent way to improve people’s moral character.” She also praised the principles: “Teaching people to have compassion, upholding kindness in one’s heart. I strongly agree.”

Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Will Make the World More Peaceful
Mr. Nashimoto is confident that if everyone follows Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, the world will be more peaceful.
Mr. Nashimoto accompanied his father to the starting point of the parade in Hanakawado Park to support his mother, who was in the parade. He confessed that practicing cultivation is not a simple process with overnight results. However, he believes that, “If everyone follows Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, perhaps wars in this world will disappear. If everyone learns to give in, the world will be more peaceful.”
Lopa from Gunma Prefecture agrees with the principles of Falun Dafa.
Mr. Lopa, a local from Gunma Prefecture, nodded and sincerely agreed with the principles after a practitioner explained the teachings of the practice. He commented, “It is as you said.”
Mr. Ito thinks Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is great.
Mr. Ito, who was on his way home after work, was pleased to see the parade contingent. He said with a smile, “I think Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are wonderful.”
If Everyone Followed Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, How Wonderful the World Would Be
Mr. Li (alias) from China said this was the first time he had seen a Falun Gong parade. He could not hide his excitement and kept saying he was “very moved.” Comparing the situation in China with overseas, he said emotionally, “It is worlds apart. There are no human rights at all in China, let alone belief and freedom of speech. Only outside China is there a normal, civilized society.”
When asked his thoughts on the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) lies vilifying Falun Gong, he said, “Those are complete lies fabricated by the CCP single-handedly—they are all out to frame the practice.” He had previously traveled with the military and went through long periods of brainwashing and re-education, but now he is aware of the truth. He said he and everyone in his family had quit the CCP.
He added, “If everyone followed Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, how wonderful the world would be.” He also said he will see Shen Yun in Japan.
Thank You, Master Li for Teaching the Falun Dafa
Before the parade, practitioners also recorded a congratulations video for World Falun Dafa Day and wished the founder, Master Li, “Happy Birthday” with the landmark “Tokyo Sky Tree” in the background.
Clara, a practitioner from the Czech Republic, thanks Master Li for teaching Falun Dafa.
Ms. Clara, a practitioner from the Czech Republic, took part in the parade that day. She began practicing cultivation in April 2018, and shared how she became a practitioner: “In the past, I often felt I had lost some kind of support in my life, I longed to be a better person. I didn’t want to go with the flow, I hoped to find ‘kindness’ deep in my heart.” Due to her firm wishes, she finally found Falun Dafa from a flier.
Looking back at the changes that practicing cultivation has brought, she said, “In the beginning, it was health improvement; the backache that troubled me miraculously disappeared. As I practiced cultivation more in-depth, I became more tranquil and peaceful, and I learned to think of others.” She is full of gratitude for the moral elevation and said that now she is able to more easily notice and appreciate people’s inner goodness.
To mark World Falun Dafa Day, Clara said with utmost respect, “I sincerely thank Master for teaching such a profound practice to sentient beings. It is a supreme honor in this vast cosmos.” She sincerely wished Master Li “Happy Birthday.”
