Helping People Withdraw From the CCP

(Minghui.org) I began practicing Falun Dafa when I was in my 20s. During the more than two decades I’ve cultivated, I witnessed the goodness of Dafa. Despite the brutal persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), I remained steadfast in my belief in Master and Dafa. By sending text messages from my cellphone, I never stopped sharing the goodness of Dafa and exposing the CCP’s persecution. I’d like to tell you about an experience that happened many years ago.

When the DVD “Witness Describes Organ Harvesting from Living Falun Gong Practitioners” was released, it further exposed the “Tiananmen self-immolation” hoax orchestrated by the CCP. I was deeply shocked by these facts and felt that everyone should know the truth.

I began collecting phone numbers from the advertising section of the evening newspaper and sent text messages whenever I could. In the messages, I wrote: “Falun Dafa is good; the Tiananmen self-immolation is a fabrication.” I did this almost every day.

I once received a phone call from a man who asked how I obtained his phone number. I explained that I found it in the advertising section of the local evening newspaper.

He told me that he admired Falun Dafa practitioners very much. He said he once told people at a gathering how Falun Dafa practitioners “self-immolated” for their beliefs, which he thought was remarkable. It was clear that he did not understand the truth—that Falun Dafa practitioners cherish life and would never commit suicide. Hearing this, I felt anxious and replied, “You’ve been misled by false propaganda. I’d like to explain the truth to you.”

I found the address of his shop and took a copy of the DVD “Witness Describes Organ Harvesting from Living Falun Gong Practitioners.” My son accompanied me to find him.

Business at the shop seemed slow. There was only a young man there, who seemed to be the owner. I asked the price of a car hanger and bought one. From our brief conversation, I realized he was the person that called the other day. I said, “The Tiananmen self-immolation is fake. You can learn the facts from this DVD.” He accepted the DVD with a mixture of surprise and delight.

He called me while I was on the bus back home and exclaimed, “You’re so hard to reach! I knew the CCP was bad, but I never imagined it could be this evil! Even I was deceived. I didn’t notice such an obvious flaw. That little girl supposedly had tracheal surgery, yet when the reporter interviewed her, she could still sing.” I knew he now understood the truth about the “self-immolation.”

Afterward, I didn’t contact him for some time. When the booklet the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published, which called on people to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers, I immediately thought of him. I called him, and we arranged a time and place to meet. I asked other practitioners to send righteous thoughts while I brought him a copy of the booklet.

When we met at a small café, he joked that I was very hard to reach. He said he started another business, and it was doing very well. I felt he received good fortune after understanding the truth. However, when I explained the purpose of my visit, he was unwilling to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I felt a little disappointed, but I was happy when he accepted the booklet.

He then told me his story: During the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests, he was a member of the “Beijing Students’ Autonomous Federation” and was targeted by the CCP.

He said those who participated in the student movement told him that tanks entered Tiananmen Square and machine guns were used on the night of June 3, 1989. The tanks also crushed many students who refused to leave. Bulldozers and trucks arrived later to load the bodies and transport them away. Finally, water trucks were brought in to wash away the blood, and the square was cleaner than usual. Yet the CCP claimed that no one died.

As he spoke, I realized that what he described was consistent with what was explained in the booklet. I hoped that after he read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, he would withdraw from the CCP.

Just as we were about to say goodbye, he noticed a stack of “Three Withdrawals from the CCP” statements a practitioner had recently passed to me. Some were handwritten, while others were printed. “I like the printed versions,” he said, “I’ll withdraw too, and I’ll use my real name.” When I heard this, the anxiety that had been lingering in my heart vanished. I felt grateful—this life had truly been saved!

I didn’t realize I’d brought those withdrawal statements with me that day. I know that this was Master’s compassionate arrangement and blessing, as well as the righteous thoughts of practitioners who were supporting me.

This incident happened more than 20 years ago, yet it remains vivid in my memory. I realized that as long as our hearts are focused on saving people, we will encounter predestined individuals and receive Master’s help.

During this final stage of Fa-rectification, I hope that fellow practitioners will cultivate themselves better, form a strong and unified body, do the three things well, and help Master save even more people.
