(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Ireland have held activities in Dublin to introduce Falun Dafa every weekend in March 2026. They have also raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Dafa, a persecution that has continued unabated since July 1999. As more Chinese students, immigrants, and tourists began visiting the area, practitioners set up an information site during the week. Many Chinese people took the opportunity to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated youth organizations.

A Falun Dafa information site in Dublin with display boards, flyers, and exercise demonstrations

A young Chinese man watched the Falun Dafa exercise demonstration one Saturday and took photos with his mobile phone. A practitioner asked him if he would like a copy of the Minghui Weekly. He hesitated and said he was about to go the airport and return to China. The practitioner suggested that he take it and read it before he boarded the plane because he wouldn’t be able to read this information after he returns to China. He immediately accepted a copy.

After the practitioner described Falun Dafa to the young man, he said, “I know Master Li is from Changchun and Falun Dafa was introduced there.”

When he saw Western practitioners, he was surprised that Falun Dafa is so popular outside China.

He asked a practitioner, “Who pays you to do the exercises here?” The practitioner explained they were all volunteers and came to the site after work. The young man said, “Oh, it’s Saturday today.” When he was told that more than 400 million Chinese people have quit the CCP and its affiliated youth organizations, he agreed to quit the Communist Youth League with an alias.

Different From the CCP’s Propaganda

Two young men from China looked at the display board with information about the CCP-staged Tiananmen self-immolation. They told a practitioner that they had seen Falun Dafa practitioners in several countries in their travels outside of China.

They also said they watched a march held by practitioners and saw them doing the exercises outdoors, as well as some people wearing T-shirts which had the words: “Falun Dafa.” They said that this is completely different from what the CCP is reporting in its media. They were curious and asked many questions about Falun Dafa.

“Is Falun Dafa mainly for doing the exercises?” one young man asked. The practitioner explained that the most important thing is to conduct oneself according to the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. The practitioner told them that all the Dafa books can be downloaded from falundafa.org for free. They accepted informational materials in both English and Chinese.

They listened as the practitioner talked about the positive reports about Falun Dafa before the persecution. She then talked about the CCP’s ongoing, brutal persecution. When they looked at the photo of 38-year-old practitioner Ms. Gao Rongrong’s face which was disfigured by electric shocks, tears welled up in one young man’s eyes.

They asked if they could take photos of the display boards. Afterwards, both young men quit the CCP and thanked the practitioner.

Practitioners Are Kind

When a middle-aged Chinese woman saw a practitioner distributing informational materials, she said, “Oh, Falun Dafa. I know it is very good, but it’s brutally persecuted.”

She told the practitioner that when she took a train in China many years ago, a female practitioner sat across from her. After a while, four policemen boarded the train and searched the practitioner’s luggage and then they took her away. Recalling the incident after so many years, she said the practitioner was very kind.

She said that she was sensitive to spirituality and energy and that she has a Chinese medicine shop. She could feel the energy from practitioners and said Falun Dafa must be a good practice. She said she was pleased to see practitioners in Dublin and chatted for a long time with a practitioner. Before leaving, she quit the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers.

The CCP Conducts Forced Organ Harvesting

A young Chinese man stopped in front of the display board calling for help to stop the CCP’s state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting from practitioners. He told a practitioner that many Chinese people knew about the forced organ harvesting. He has a relative in China who had a blood sample collected at school and he was worried because he knew forced organ harvesting was an industry in China. The young man said his mother told him that many children were missing in China now, and people believe they had their organs harvested.

“The CCP is so bad,” the young man said. He accepted the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and said he left China years ago. He said he would read the book and would also ask his family members to read it.
