(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in the Netherlands held an information day event in the center of Amersfoort on Saturday, July 19, 2025. The event was very popular.
Amersfoort, the second largest city in Utrecht Province in the Netherlands, is one of the largest railway hubs in the Netherlands.
Practitioners set up display boards and a petition table on Varkensmarkt Street in the city center. They demonstrated the five exercises, handed out flyers, and invited people to sign a petition calling for an end to the 26-year-long persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Many people learned about the practice and thanked practitioners for sharing the information.

Woman from Singapore: “I’m So Glad I Ran into You!”
Ms. Ailing from Singapore is of Chinese descent. She works in the Netherlands for a company focused on fighting financial crimes but had seen practitioners before in Singapore. Practitioners at the event told her about Falun Dafa’s official website, where all the writings are available for free download. She smiled and said, “I’ll download them as soon as I get home!
“I think Falun Gong’s values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are good for both the mind and body. I don’t understand why it’s banned. It’s not fair, because everyone can benefit from it.”
After learning about the CCP’s 26-year-long persecution, she said, “I don’t support communism. It cruelly limits and controls people. In Singapore, we have freedom. We are lucky.”
Ailing took many photos of the displays. She said, “My work has been stressful, and I’ve felt anxious both physically and mentally. Today is the weekend, so I came out for a drive and then thought I’d stop by a shop in the city. I was going to take a different street, but at the last minute I came this way and saw you. I’m really glad I chose this street and ran into you!”
She left but came back shortly after to thank the practitioners again for raising awareness.

Dutch Couple: “Forced Organ Harvesting Must Stop!”
A Dutch couple who were out shopping saw the display boards about the CCP’s state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners. They immediately signed the petition.
The husband said, “This crime of forced organ harvesting must stop! We know about these things because we read about the CCP regime’s involvement in selling human organs on smaller, independent media outlets that dare to tell the truth. This must be stopped!
“Many people don’t know about it. Some do, but they don’t care. What you’re doing here is very good. More people need to know about these crimes. The communist regime is killing people to take their organs, and even children have been killed this way. This must stop!” he said.

A Dutch woman who signed the petition said, “I like your exercises, so I want to sign the petition!” She then asked, “Can I take a few more flyers? I want to give them to my sister in Poland. She also enjoys meditation.”
