(Minghui.org) From late May to early June 2025, practitioners in South Africa introduced Falun Dafa at well-known landmarks in Cape Town.
Cape Town is surrounded by mountains and sea, and attracts tourists from around the world. One famous attraction is Table Mountain, which is known for its flat top and breathtaking views of the Cape Peninsula. Standing at 1,800 meters above sea level and featuring cable cars and hiking trails Table Mountain is the most visited national park in South Africa.
Table Mountain one of South Africa’s most famous landmarks.
One morning practitioners talked to a local family who were spending the weekend on the mountain. After learning about Falun Dafa and the persecution in China, they said, “We hope the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) ends the persecution soon.” Although they live far from the city they said they were interested in joining a local practice site to learn the exercises.
The Munifa family said they were interested in learning how to practice Falun Dafa.
A Swedish couple warmly greeted practitioners and said they visited China and knew about Falun Dafa and the persecution. They encouraged practitioners and said, “We hope the persecution ends soon and practitioners in China are free to practice again.”

Two brothers from South Africa were delighted to see the banners on Table Mountain. They greeted practitioners warmly and said with big smiles, “Falun Dafa is good!” During their conversation practitioners learned that the brothers were from the Zulu ethnic group in Eastern Cape Province. After they learned about Falun Dafa they joined practitioners and helped hold the banner.

Introducing Falun Dafa at the Cape of Good Hope
Holding banners at the Cape of Good Hope
Another of South Africa’s famous landmarks, the Cape of Good Hope, is located at the southern tip of the Cape Peninsula. This spot marks the boundary between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, where cold Atlantic waters meet the warm currents of the Indian Ocean. Since the 15th century, the Cape of Good Hope has been known as a guiding landmark for European ships entering the Indian Ocean.
Practitioners went to the landmark near the Atlantic side and displayed banners. Many tourists who passed by stopped to speak with them, including two sisters from Beijing.
When they were offered information materials, the sisters gladly accepted. After hearing about the persecution, they said, “The CCP should not persecute people of faith. It’s wrong to harvest organs from practitioners.” They quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

The practitioners’ final stop was the lookout tower at the Cape of Good Hope, where they met a group of tourists from Saudi Arabia. The visitors were delighted to receive the small lotus flowers practitioners offered.
The practitioners explained that Falun Dafa is an ancient Chinese spiritual practice based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Hearing this, the parents smiled warmly. The children even joined the practitioners in saying, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”
