(Minghui.org) I sometimes read the comments under articles published in practitioners’ media—in some articles that talk about the accomplishments of the recently elected president, I feel that many comments are from practitioners. My impression is that they hope the president accelerates the downfall of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and ends the persecution of Falun Dafa.
This way of thinking could be a problem.
In one of his lectures Master Li talked about how practitioners hoped a government leader would be elected the head of the CCP and end the persecution, but the outcome turned out to be the opposite. We should learn from this lesson, and not repeat the same mistake.
Practitioners’ thoughts can have an impact on a large scope of the universe. If many of us put our hopes on an everyday person to end the CCP’s reign and end the persecution, we may give the old forces an excuse to create interference for Dafa. It could also bring trouble for that everyday person, and create obstacles for people to be saved.
This also applies to practitioners praising those who do well. If we worship or learn from a practitioner who does well in cultivation and truth clarification, the old forces might cause terrible ordeals for that practitioner, sometimes even taking his life. There have been many such cases.
As practitioners, we know that we repeatedly reincarnated throughout history for this moment in time. We should play the main role on stage, and everyday people, no matter how high their positions or how rich they are, play the roles of assisting us in Fa rectification. We are the ones who help Master, save people, and end the persecution, and we should not expect everyday people to do it.
In the limited time we have left, I hope practitioners live up to Master’s expectations, progress diligently and do the three things well to accomplish our missions.
Articles in which cultivators share their understandings typically reflect an individual's perception at a point in time based on their cultivation state, and they are offered in the spirit of enabling mutual elevation.
