(Minghui.org) Practitioners held an information event in Saarbrücken on April 19, 2025, Easter Saturday. They told people about Falun Gong (Falun Dafa) and the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) forced organ harvesting from practitioners. Many people were very concerned and signed a petition addressed to the German Federal Government’s Human Rights Committee against organ harvesting.

Saarbrücken, the capital of Saarland, is located on the border between Germany and France. Practitioners do the Falun Gong exercises every Sunday in the German-French Garden. They also regularly set up information booths so residents and tourists can learn about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, which has been going on for 26 years.

The sun was shining and the streets were crowded. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises in front of their booth, while others handed out flyers and told people about Falun Gong and the CCP’s forced organ harvesting.

Practitioners demonstrated the exercises during an event on April 19, 2025.

Many people asked practitioners for more information about Falun Gong, and they signed the petition against organ harvesting.

“Harvesting Organs from Practitioners Is Unacceptable and Inhumane.”

Jana Lemmertz from France said about organ harvesting, “This is a violation of human rights. It is unacceptable and inhumane.” After signing the petition against forced organ harvesting, she also wanted to make a donation. But practitioners politely declined and explained that Falun Gong practitioners do not accept money.

Luciana Isaias said harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners is unacceptable and inhumane.

Luciana Isaias from Brazil said while signing the petition, “It is normal to oppose the persecution. Everyone has their own beliefs, and every belief should be respected.”

Tibetan Woman Thanks Practitioners

Lama Yoga from Kaiserslautern came to the booth with her two children. She explained that she’s from Tibet, and she heard Tibetans also have their organs harvested. For example, some women who had stomach pain went for surgery, but often died from infections. It was later found that one of their kidneys was missing. These surgeries were carried out by Chinese doctors. She and her two children signed the petition. She sincerely thanked practitioners for their efforts in raising awareness of the CCP’s brutality.

Torben Becker, a social worker in Saarbrücken, said he had already signed the petition.

He explained, “I sign because I believe Falun Gong is part of Chinese culture. But the truth is, human rights are being violated there, and Falun Gong practitioners are suffering cruel persecution. We must pay attention to this. Staying silent about the persecution is unacceptable. Chinese culture has a history of thousands of years, but sadly, since the founding of the Chinese communist regime, the people have been heavily oppressed.”

Two young women listened attentively as practitioners explained what Falun Gong is and about the persecution in China. When they left, they took informational materials. A young man also learned about Falun Gong and said he supports the efforts against the persecution. All three signed the petition.

Samuel Metz signed the petition, and said he supports practitioners’ efforts to expose the persecution.

As a peaceful march involving several groups passed by the information booth, some people were interested in Falun Dafa and accepted flyers.

The practitioners’ event on Easter helped more people learn about the CCP’s persecution. Many passersby showed sympathy and interest in Falun Dafa and signed the petition to protect human rights. Practitioners will continue to peacefully introduce Falun Dafa and call on more people to help stop the persecution.
