Additional Persecution News from China – April 4, 2025 (6 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 7 practitioners were recently persecuted for their faith.

1. [Suizhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zou Zhengying Arrested and Detained
2. [Chongqing] Practitioner Chen Qi Harassed
3. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Li Harassed
4. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Deng Meijuan Harassed
5. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yan Chao and Ms. Wang Shaohua Arrested
6. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Mr. Wei Anyue Harassed

1. [Suizhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zou Zhengying Arrested and Detained

Ms. Zou Zhengying, 71, was arrested near her home in Suizhou City, Hubei Province, by officers from Nanyang City, Henan Province around March 10, 2025. She is currently being detained in Henan Province.

2. [Chongqing] Practitioner Chen Qi Harassed

Chen Qi, gender unknown, was harassed in the past few months. The harassers, including local police and staff members from the Yangjiaping Sub-district Office and Xingsheng Village Community Office, threatened to take Chen to a brainwashing center. They even harassed Chen’s mother at the hospital.

3. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Li Harassed

Ms. Wang Li was harassed by officers from the Huaikou Town Police Station in Jintang County on March 27, 2025. The officers confiscated three Falun Gong books.

4. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Deng Meijuan Harassed

Ms. Deng Meijuan from Nanying Village of Nanying Town was recently harassed at home by an officer from the Chang’an Town Police Station in Gaocheng District. Ms. Deng was ordered to get a physical exam, which she refused to do.

5. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yan Chao and Ms. Wang Shaohua Arrested

Mr. Yan Chao and Ms. Wang Shaohua were reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong, and arrested by officers from the Xinhua Police Station on March 27, 2025. Their homes were ransacked. The police confiscated many Falun Gong books from Mr. Yan’s home, and a computer, USB drive, and MP3 player from Ms. Wang’s home. Both have been released.

6. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Mr. Wei Anyue Harassed

Mr. Wei Anyue was harassed at home by officers from the Jinchuan Road Police Station in Jinchuan District on March 18, 2025. The police took his photos and collected his personal information.
