(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners from the Phoenix area participated in an annual community event in Gilbert on Saturday, April 5, 2025. The Gilbert Global Village Festival is a free event for all ages. The festival celebrates the community’s cultural diversity.
Practitioners distributed fliers, introduced Falun Dafa, and told people about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) decades-long persecution at their booth. They also demonstrated the exercises.

Clayton, who lives in Gilbert, had a lot of questions about meditation. He said that he had tried several methods but was not able to keep it up. However, the few times he was able to calm his mind and meditate, he noticed the positive effect on his state of mind and overall wellbeing. Those good experiences with meditation motivated him to keep looking into it.
Clayton said he wanted to try Falun Dafa, so practitioners talked about their own experiences and then directed him to the website to download the music for free. He said he would try it that night.

Festival Visitors Sign the Petition to Support the Falun Gong Protection Act
Practitioners talked to people about the importance of the Falun Gong Protection Act bill, S.817, that has been introduced in Congress. Most visitors signed the petition asking their senators and representatives to pass the bill to help stop the CCP’s persecution.
Mr. Alan from Glendale, an avid photographer, visited the Falun Dafa booth and took many pictures of practitioners as they did the exercises.
He said that he knew about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa and he sympathized with practitioners. He signed the petition to support the Falun Gong Protection Act.
After Mary from Scottsdale signed the petition, she said that, over the years, every time she attends an event and there’s a Falun Dafa booth, she signs the current petition. She knows about the CCP’s persecution and the forced organ harvesting.
She said, “Every time I see your booth, I feel it calling me. I feel a connection with Falun Dafa. I always want to know more about it when I talk with practitioners.”
A practitioner directed her to the FalunDafa.org website to download Zhuan Falun, Falun Dafa’s main book, so she could read it. She was grateful and signed the petition.
