(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 7 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Chongqing] Mr. Zou Bin Sentenced to Prison
2. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Taken to Prison

4. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Junfang’s Trial Postponed

1. [Chongqing] Mr. Zou Bin Sentenced to Prison
It was recently confirmed by Minghui.org that Mr. Zou Bin from Nan’an District was secretly sentenced to two years and six months by the Jiulongpo District Court around March 2025.
2. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Taken to Prison
Ms. Zhang Shujie, Ms. Zhao Hong’e, and Ms. Zheng Guixiang have been admitted to the Liaoning Province Second Women’s Prison. Ms. Zhang is in the Third Division, and Ms. Zhao in the Second Division. It is not clear which division Ms. Zheng is in.
3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Wei’s Appeal Accepted by the Intermediate Court
Ms. Wang Wei from Sujiatun District was sentenced to four years in prison by the Hunnan District Court on December 26, 2024. She appealed with the Shenyang City Intermediate Court, which accepted her case on March 7, 2025.
Judge Jiang Hui and two other judges from the appeals court conducted a video meeting with Ms. Wang on March 19. They asked her if she had any new evidence for submission. She stated, “Falun Gong teaches people to be kind and good. We pose no harm to the society at all...” The judge stopped her from talking.
Ms. Wang’s family defender went to the court on March 20, demanding that he be allowed to visit her and review her case documents. Yet the judge’s assistant Jin Liang ordered him to prepare a DC drive himself to read the disks. Jin also urged the family defender to submit his defense statement. Fearing that the court would reject the appeal and close the case quickly, Ms. Wang’s family defender submitted a request for the court to hold a hearing for the appeal case.
4. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Junfang’s Trial Postponed
Ms. Wu Junfang’s trial was rescheduled by the Ci County Court from March 31 to April 9, 2025, due to her high blood pressure.
5. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Peng Xiuxin Arrested
Ms. Peng Xiuxin, a native of the Tieling area of Liaoning Province, worked as a house aide for a retired professor from Yantai University in Shandong Province. She was arrested at the professor’s home at noon on March 21, 2025, by officers from the Wanghai Police Station, Laishan District. The police also ransacked the place. They revealed that they arrested Ms. Peng after she was followed when distributing Falun Gong informational materials. Ms. Peng is currently held in the Yantai City Detention Center.
