(Minghui.org) When the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Dafa in July 1999, my department manager actively participated in the brutality. She withheld my bonus, adopted the methods of criticism and denunciation used during the Cultural Revolution, and monitored where I lived. Her son worked part-time in our department, but his annual bonus was the same as permanent receive. She also forced some of our department colleagues to join in the persecution.
Due to their persecution, my department’s work efficiency deteriorated considerably. Our preschool used to have an endless flow of students, but during those few years of the persecution, the preschool teachers had to advertise the school on the streets due to the lack of students and were asked to recruit their own students. Due to our department’s economic downturn, some staff were laid off and the teachers’ weekends were adjusted from the original two days to one day. A few years later, I heard that the manager’s son had started to take drugs and did not go to work.
After the manager retired, a new one was hired. This manager was very kind and I clarified the truth to her. Through many interactions with her, she came to understand Falun Dafa and protected practitioners. The county 610 office personnel came to see her. They had planned to arrest me, so they came to ask her opinion about it. My manager put in many good words for me. She told them, “She is such a good person, doing a good job and being responsible. She has both elderly and young to look after at home. She is a compassionate person, so I will not agree to it.” With her righteous support, the persecution disintegrated.
The 610 office personnel came to see her on another occasion. They said that I had clarified the truth to the daughter of the captain of the Domestic Security Division. That made them very angry and they pressured my manager, asking her to remind me to take note and not to go out to clarify the truth again. I explained the situation compassionately to my manager. Ultimately, she smiled and said, “If you really want to save sentient beings, then save those who can be saved! For those who cannot be saved, you should give up!” Upon hearing these words, I was surprised. She used the term “saving sentient beings” though she was not a cultivator.
Not long after this director started, our department obtained approval from the upper management to expand and renovate our building. Our workplace had a new look and our school building area was many times bigger than its original size. Endless students came to enroll, such that the demand became more than the supply. Parents were all vying to send their children to our preschool, such that the teachers no longer needed to go out to recruit students and our work efficiency improved a lot. About three years after this new director came, the two-day weekends were resumed.
Our department employed a couple to guard the entrance, and I clarified the truth to them. I often showed them truth-clarification materials and they understood the goodness of Dafa. The wife fell ill once and was hospitalized. She was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis and was in a very dangerous situation. I gave her a small speaker to listen to audio recordings and told them both to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” during dangerous moments, as these words have limitless power. I told them the phrases can help avert disasters and protect them from danger. The couple believed deeply and recited the two phrases sincerely from the bottom of their hearts. The wife was released from the hospital a short time later and recovered. They were very grateful to me and I told them that it was Master who helped them, so they should thank Master!
The wife told me that she recites the two phrases 30 times when she gets up in the morning every day. Before going to sleep, she also recites the phrases dozens of times. She said that Dafa is really good. She now sleeps well with good health, and she has really benefited.
