[Newly Translated Older Death Case] Liaoning Woman in Her 30s Dies Around June 2003

According to an inmate who was once jailed at the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison, a Falun Gong practitioner named Li Hongzeng was admitted to the prison around June 2003 and died in less than one week.

As the prison blocked the news, other information about Ms. Li’s torture and death remains unknown more than two decades later. She is one of at least 62 woman practitioners who lost their lives as a result of being tortured in the same prison.
