(Minghui.org) Before I began practicing Falun Dafa in 1998 I suffered from numerous illnesses. After I began practicing, they all disappeared and I’ve been healthy and disease-free ever since.

In July 1999, former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Jiang Zemin launched a persecution campaign against Falun Dafa. Many practitioners traveled to Beijing to speak up for Dafa and to defend Master. I wanted to join them, but I ran a small transportation business. My inability to participate weighed heavily on me.

One morning, while I was half asleep, I saw a scene: a brand-new version of me emerged from my body. Others referred to this person as, “Older sister,” and she bore a striking resemblance to me. I finished my business early that day and went to a fellow practitioner’s clothing store. Several practitioners were there, neatly dressed. I realized they were heading to Beijing again, and I said I wanted to join them. They hesitated, especially my sister, who worried that my family might not understand and would complain.

I firmly said, “No one can stop me today. I must go. If you don’t take me, I’ll go by myself.” Seeing my determination, they agreed to let me join them. They affectionately called me, “Older sister,” since I was older than most of them. This reminded me of the dream I had that morning, which I believe was Master's way of encouraging me. The bus departed at noon, and I was filled with joy.

Running the transportation service, I often observed intense competition among drivers when customers exited the station. Taxi and bus drivers scrambled to solicit passengers, leading to constant commotion and even arguments. As a Dafa practitioner, I did not compete with them. Instead, I waited patiently and let the other drivers pick up customers first. Despite this, I always had enough business.

One day, a large group of people emerged from the station, carrying heavy luggage. As usual, the drivers rushed to grab them. However, one driver unexpectedly turned around and told me, “It’s your turn." Her behavior surprised me—it was unusual for drivers to willingly pass customers to someone else. I felt touched by her action and curious about her decision.

When I spoke with the group, I learned that they traveled from a distant city for work but were deceived by their employer. They walked a great distance, their shoes worn out, and they had no money left to get to the train station. I immediately understood why the other driver passed them to me. Without hesitation, I said, “Get in the car, and I’ll take you to the train station.” The station was about 60 miles away, but I was determined to help them. When we arrived, they were deeply moved and repeatedly expressed their gratitude, saying, “Thank you so much! You are so kind—you are such a good person!”

My brother’s family owned a restaurant, and I helped manage it. The restaurant employed two waiters, but because it was so busy, we hired the third—a boy about sixteen or seventeen years old. I stayed in a bedroom, while the three waiters shared the living room. One day, I discovered that my mobile phone, a gift from my son worth 2,000 yuan, was missing, along with my wallet. The wallet contained the day’s business earnings. At the same time, we realized the new boy was gone. When I discussed the situation with my brother, his first instinct was that the boy took the money and ran away.

He suggested checking the local Internet cafés, thinking the boy might be hiding there, and that’s where we found him. When he returned to the restaurant, he knelt before me, clearly afraid. My brother and the other waiters were furious and wanted to beat him, but I stopped them.

I pulled the boy up and said gently, “You can’t do things like this. If you need help, talk to someone—maybe they can assist you. If not, you must rely on your own hard work. I practice Falun Dafa, so I can forgive you. But think about what could have happened if someone else caught you. They might have beaten you and taken you to the police. Your life would be ruined.”

The boy started crying and said, “You are so kind.” He turned to leave, but I stopped him. “Wait!” I called out. I quickly gathered a few clothes and handed them to him. He took them, still crying, and ran out. I believe that showing kindness can help save a young soul. This is what Falun Dafa has taught me to do.

I used to be a selfish person, quick to anger and I always had to be right. Anyone who upset me was in serious trouble. I’m now a different person. Falun Dafa completely transformed me.
