(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

6. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Arrested or Harassed
7. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cong Lei Arrested
8. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Yanli and Family Harassed
9. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Jiang Hongyuan Released on Bail
10. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Yanqiu Admitted to Prison
1. [Chongyang County, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhou Chunxiang Tried
Ms. Zhou Chunxiang, in her 60s, was tried by Chongyang County Court on November 26, 2025. No verdict was announced in court. She was arrested at an unknown time after being recorded by surveillance cameras while distributing Falun Gong materials in residential communities near the county seat.
The police told her family that if she plead guilty and promised not to practice Falun Gong from now on, she could receive a light sentence or even be released immediately after court trial. Otherwise, she would be sentenced to three to five years in prison. Ms. Zhou refused to comply.
2. [Julu County, Hebei Province] Ms. Hao Yanfen and Ms. Li Tingting Arrested
Ms. Hao Yanfen and Ms. Li Tingting were arrested on November 25, 2025 for distributing Falun Gong materials. The arresting officers from Julu County Domestic Security Division also ransacked their homes.
3. [Yinan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Wei Changbao Arrested
Mr. Wei Changbao was arrested by Mengyin County Police Department officers in Mengyin County on November 20, 2025. He had been followed for a long time.
4. [Qian’an City, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Yuexia Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Guo Yuexia was arrested on March 16, 2025, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was tried by Funing District Court on June 24, 2025 and sentenced to four years in prison. She has filed an appeal with the Qinhuangdao City Intermediate Court. She is still awaiting the result of her appeals in the Qinhuangdao City Detention Center.
5. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Yonglan’s Home Ransacked
Ms. Wang Yonglan’s home was ransacked on November 20, 2025.
6. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Arrested or Harassed
Five practitioners in Muping District were arrested or harassed in November 2025.
Practitioner Ding was arrested by Longquan Police Station officers on the morning of November 6, 2025, and was released on bail that afternoon.
Mr. Kong, an 89-year-old retired teacher, was harassed twice by Xishan Police Station officers in mid-November. They broke into his home, forcibly took him to the police station and attempted to force him to sign some paperwork.
Ms. Xu Jin’e, 75, who lived by herself, was frequently harassed by Shuidao Town Police Station officers. The officers once scaled her neighbor’s fence to break into her home when she wasn’t in. Due to the mental distress from the harassment, she is experiencing difficulty walking and has swollen eyes.
Two other practitioners, whose names weren’t known, were also harassed and had their Falun Gong books confiscated.
7. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cong Lei Arrested
Ms. Cong Lei, 65, was arrested at the Yantai City train station on November 18, 2025 before boarding a train back to her hometown in Anhui Province, after security personnel found Falun Gong materials in her luggage. Her local Longquan Police Station officers ransacked her home. She is being held in Fushan District Detention Center.
Ms. Cong’s son contacted a friend, seeking help to rescue his mother. The police followed him to his friend’s grandmother’s home and raided the place.
8. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Yanli and Her Family Harassed
Ms. Yang Yanli and her family have been harassed by Gucheng Town Police Station officers in recent months.
9. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Jiang Hongyuan Released on Bail
Ms. Jiang Hongyuan, 73, was arrested by Huaxiba Police Station officers on September 26, 2025. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to Chengdu City Detention Center that night. She was released on bail on October 26.
10. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Yanqiu Admitted to Prison
Ms. Chen Yanqiu has been admitted to the Hebei Province Women’s Prison to serve a four-year term. Her family only learned about her prison admission when they received a letter from the prison on October 25, 2025. They called the prison to schedule a visit, but were denied.
After waiting for a month without any results, her family went to the prison in late November, but were still denied visitation with her. With their strong demand, however, the prison agreed that they could write or call each other. The family received a call from Ms. Chen at around 10 p.m. that day. The call was supposed to last five minutes, but the line was cut off when she was speaking. When she called back again, a guard was heard urging her to hurry up. The two calls together lasted for about only three minutes.
