(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners from Nagpur, India participated in the Gramayan Abhyuday Sewa Exhibition at Taya Hope Hall on September 12-14, 2025, to introduce Falun Dafa. They set up a booth to introduce the practice to visitors from different walks of life, and inform people about the ongoing persecution in China.
Nagpur, often called the “heart of India” because of its central location, is also known for its cultural openness and active participation in social initiatives. Many state-wide and national-level exhibitions are organized there, drawing large and diverse audiences.
Falun Dafa Sparks Curiosity as Visitors Show Enthusiasm and Interest in Learning About Falun Dafa
Over the three-day event many people, including college students, garden groups, and families, visited the booth. Practitioners introduced Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and demonstrated the exercises. Many expressed interest in learning the practice, and invited practitioners to their institutions and groups for future demonstrations. Several visitors shared their phone numbers and contact details.

Students and social work employees showed interest in Falun Dafa.
College students were interested in the relaxing qualities of the meditative Falun Dafa exercises. A social work student, Rupali Somkuwar, said, “Even reading about this practice brings a sense of peace, but I believe practicing it will make us stronger in mind and body.”
Pratibha Bhutange, a medical student, shared a similar opinion. “As a medical student, I see how stress and tension affect both the mind and body,” she said. “Falun Dafa brings a sense of calm, and I believe practicing it could greatly benefit mental and physical health.”
A principal of an engineering college also felt that Falun Dafa could be beneficial for his students. “Falun Dafa is a practice based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. I believe it can guide our students toward being of a stronger character, and prescribe towards ethical living. I fully support introducing it in my college,” he said.
Visitors Learn About the Persecution and Sign Petition Calling to Stop the Brutality
Practitioners informed the public about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa in China and raised awareness of the CCP’s state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting.
Practitioners also collected signatures on a petition organized by the non-governmental organizations Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting and End Transplant Abuse Coalition to the G7+7 nations (the G7 nations plus Argentina, Australia, India, Israel, Mexico, South Korea, and Taiwan) to condemn the CCP’s forced organ harvesting from Falun Dafa practitioners and other prisoners of conscience.
After learning about the persecution, many people signed the petition in support of ending the atrocities.

Ravindra Shukla, a teacher, signed the petition. He remarked, “This is not just an injustice—it is a crime against humanity. I am signing the petition because every individual has the right to freedom of belief.”
Dr. Pravin Mahajan signed the petition.
Pravin Mahajan, principal of a senior college, said, “After learning the truth, I cannot remain silent. This persecution must end without delay.”

Akash, a science student, said, “Just by reading about Falun Dafa I could feel its peacefulness. I want to invite the practitioners to our college so more students can experience it through the exercises.”
Akash’s friends, who came with him, also were shocked to learn about the persecution and the crime of forced organ harvesting. The students said they “fully support the practitioners,” and every one signed the petition.
Anjali Rawat signed the petition.
Anjali Rawat, a student of arts, said, “Learning about forced organ harvesting left me deeply disturbed. I signed the petition to raise awareness so that more people will recognize and oppose this crime.”
Tanushree Verma signed the petition.
Tanushree Verma, an engineering student, said, “I never imagined such cruelty could exist today. Signing this petition is the least I can do to support the practitioners.”
Rutuja signed the petition calling for an end of the persecution.
Rutuja, a law student, said, “As someone who studies justice, I cannot stay silent. I signed the petition to support the practitioners and stand against this grave violation of human rights.”
Social Workers Show Support
Renowned social workers Padmashri Dr. Ravindra Kolhe and Smita Kolhe, recognized for their decades of service in remote tribal areas, visited the Falun Dafa booth at the exhibition. Their presence encouraged the practitioners and brought additional visibility to the event, inspiring more visitors to learn about the practice.
