(Minghui.org) A parade to congratulate the 450 million Chinese who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations was held on Jeju Island, South Korea, on September 21 and 22, 2025. Jeju Island is a favorite destination for Chinese tourists, offering visa-free entry and attracting a large number of visitors each year.

The event, hosted by the Falun Dafa Association of South Korea, was attended by practitioners from South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, and other countries. They did the exercises in Samda Park in Jeju City, followed by a stage performance and a parade along the main street lasting about 3 kilometers.

Statement from the Falun Dafa Association of South Korea

The Falun Dafa Association of South Korea issued a statement congratulating the 450 million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. It demanded an immediate end to the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong).

The statement noted that Falun Gong, a practice based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, has had a positive impact on Chinese society, but was met with jealousy from former CCP head Jiang Zemin, leading to the CCP’s brutal suppression since 1999. The international community has condemned this through numerous resolutions and legislation.

The statement also emphasized the worrying nature of the CCP’s infiltration and propaganda activities in South Korea. A recent example included a Seoul University professor who spread offensive remarks against Falun Gong in the media. The association urged KBS TV to correct its false reports.

Chinese Tourists Quit the CCP Organizations

Chinese tourists visiting Jeju Island were moved by the performance of the Tian Guo Marching Band. As the parade passed through the city center, many tourists raised their phones to record and take photos. Two young women immediately started recording the parade, one of whom exclaimed, “It’s amazing!”

A Chinese tourist, watching quietly from a street corner, nodded after hearing practitioners talking about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong, including its state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting. One young Chinese received a flyer and agreed to quit the CCP organizations on the spot.

A Chinese woman living in South Korea, who practiced Falun Gong in China but gave up due to fear of persecution, was delighted to see the parade and expressed her intention to resume practicing.

A man in his 40s remarked, “I’m well aware of the CCP’s evil. I also know that Falun Dafa is good. Many Chinese people know the CCP is bad, but they lack the power to oppose it.” He expressed his hope for the CCP’s swift collapse and said he would carefully read the materials that the practitioners handed him.

Local Residents Commend the Parade’s Message

Some Koreans living in Jeju also stopped to watch the parade. Resident Kim Hak-il said, “The parade was well-organized, and the phrase ‘Disintegrate the CCP’ is very good. I didn’t know about quitting the CCP before, but I learned about it today after watching the parade. I don’t fully understand it yet, but I will read the materials you provided.”

Another Korean who watched the parade said, “I didn’t expect so many people to withdraw from the CCP. This is rare in Jeju, and I think it’s great. I hope this message spreads widely and leads to change in China.”

This large-scale parade was the first of its kind on Jeju Island. Due to the large number of Chinese tourists, the Jeju police deployed a significant number of officers to prevent emergencies and maintain order. For some officers, this was their first time witnessing such an event. Some filmed the parade, while others shared video calls with others to explain the proceedings. The Tian Guo Marching Band was at the front of the parade. About two hours later, the waist drum team, at the rear, arrived at Samda Park, concluding the successful parade.

Reporters from the Jeju branch of the South Korean news agency Newsis also filmed the event and published 18 photos in a news report.
