(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 12 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

7. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Shaojie Arrested
8. [Nanpi County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Yan Detained
9. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhao Youlan Arrested
1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Arrested Practitioners’ Trial Scheduled in Detention Center
Several practitioners were scheduled to be tried by the Linghai District Court on October 21. According to an insider, the authorities arranged the trial to take place in Jinzhou City Detention Center because the location didn’t have any audio or video recording devices.
2. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Sumei Tried
Ms. Wang Sumei, in her 70s, was scheduled to stand trial at Haizhou District Court on October 22, 2025.
3. [Mengcun County, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Harassed and Arrested
Ms. Liang Enfeng’s home was ransacked by officers from the Mengcun County Police Department and the Songzhuangzi Township Police Station on the afternoon of October 15, 2025.
The officers then went to Ms. Qi Guoping’s home. No one was home. The officers borrowed a ladder, scaled the brick fence, and entered her front yard. Ms. Qi and her son happened to return home at that moment. The officers forced her to open the door and then blocked her from getting in herself. They ransacked the place and seized her Falun Gong books and a picture of the founder of Falun Gong. Both she and her son were arrested.
The officers returned to Ms. Liang’s home after 8 p.m. and arrested her.
Eight officers from Mengcun County Police Department and Songzhuangzi Township Police Station went to the home of Ms. Tang Yu’e on the morning of October 16, and tried to take her to the police department for interrogation. She did not cooperate. They left a summons without a signature, which ordered her to report to the police department at 12 p.m. She didn’t go.
Both Ms. Liang and Ms. Qi were released on the afternoon of October 16.
4. [Beijing] Ms. Liu Quantao Arrested
Ms. Liu Quantao was arrested on October 16, 2025, and her home was ransacked. She was released in the afternoon. Officers stayed at her home to monitor her.
5. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Zhu Lijia, Ms. Sheng Yi, and Ms. Li Shunying were arrested by Donghu Police Station officers on the morning of October 15, 2025. They did not pass the physical exams and were released that day.
6. [Chicheng County, Hebei Province] Ms. Xu Yanfei Harassed
Li Zhengqian and three other officers from the Chicheng County Domestic Security Division went to Ms. Xu Yanfei’s home and attempted to arrest her on October 10, 2025. She was not at home.
7. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Shaojie Arrested
Ms. Ma Shaojie, around 70, has been harassed since she was released from the Shandong Province Woman’s Prison on December 16, 2022, after serving three years and three months. She was seized from home by over ten officers around October 10, 2025. They ransacked her place and seized her Falun Gong books and other belongings. She was released several hours later. A location tracking device was installed on her electric bike.
8. [Nanpi County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Yan Detained
Ms. Wang Yan was arrested in early October 2025 by the Nanpi County police. She is being held in the Nanpi County Detention Center for 15 days.
9. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhao Youlan Arrested
Ms. Zhao Youlan was arrested by officers from the Zhanqian Police Station on the morning of October 16, 2025, after being reported for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was then transferred to the Hongjiazhou Police Station. Three officers ransacked her home, seized her Falun Gong books, and her personal phone number records.
