(Minghui.org) A Falun Dafa Experience-Sharing Conference was held in Taiwan on October 19, 2025. Over six thousand practitioners attended the conference, many of them were educators. They were inspired by the cultivation stories shared by other educators, and gained a deeper understanding of how important it is to teach the younger generations the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.

Principal: Live by the Principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance

Mr. Wu Guo-Ruei

Mr. Wu Guo-Ruei is the principal of an art high school. When he was young, he believed that being successful meant having a high-paying job and a good family. After someone in his family passed away, he started to ponder the purpose of living.

In 2006, Mr. Wu went to a Falun Dafa workshop with his mother-in-law. He initially judged the practice from the perspective of science, “After I began practicing, my health improved just like Master Li said, and I had a completely different view on life,” he said.

Three practitioners’ stories impressed Mr. Wu. One was a prosecutor who worked for the Department of Defense. He habitually spoke in an imperative tone. When a fellow practitioner kindly pointed it out, he looked within and changed. Another practitioner survived a terrible car accident and was unharmed. She didn’t blame the driver, but cared for him and took him to a theater to watch a Shen Yun show. An 85-year-old man traveled to 19 small towns to talk to people about Falun Dafa and the ongoing persecution in China. He also became considerate of his wife.

Deeply touched by these stories, Mr. Wu said, “The practitioners’ stories are like mirrors reflecting myself. They were all able to look within during conflicts, and eliminate their jealousy, resentment, arrogance, and attachment to fame and personal interest. Their stories make me think about whether I could do what they did, or how I would react if I was in the same situation.”

He thought about how to integrate his practice into his daily life and work. “Education involves verbal instruction, role modeling, and creating a learning environment. When we talk to students, we must cultivate our speech and more importantly, lead by example. Cultivation begins with the details of daily life. When our xinxing meets Dafa’s standard, our words and actions naturally inspire our students, and people at school see how wonderful practicing Dafa is,” he said.

Director of Student Affairs: The Power of Practitioners Acting as One Body

Ms. Hsieh Chun-hwa said that she felt strong positive energy during the conference.

Ms. Hsieh Chun-hwa is the director of student affairs at a high school. A coworker introduced Falun Dafa to her when she had shoulder pain. “My shoulders hurt so badly that I had a hard time wringing a towel. The coworker invited me to do Falun Dafa exercises with her. After I did them a few times the pain disappeared. That was the first time I experienced the healing power of Falun Dafa,” she said.

After she read Zhuan Falun the first time, she couldn’t put it down. “At first I thought it was a book that teaches people how to be kind. I was surprised that the content answered all the questions I had since I was little. There is much divine knowledge and wisdom that I haven't heard before, even in advanced studies,” she said.

Ms. Hsieh spoke about a practitioner’s speech that impressed her. “That teacher incorporated Shen Yun’s work and the content from Gan Jing World into her teachings. She inspired her students with the power of traditional culture and virtues. She improved their character in their daily lives – I feel this is our mission as Dafa practitioners and educators.”

She believes that when the students learn the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, they’ll have a positive impact on society. “I think that teaching is not just imparting knowledge but, more importantly, guiding the children to cherish their lives, and inspiring them so that they gain valuable insight.”

The practitioners’ selfless devotion made Ms. Hsieh feel the power of the practitioners acting as one body. “The sharing conference is a cultivation environment Master wants. It allows us to compare and improve together. I could feel a powerful energy among practitioners. I couldn’t be more grateful.”

Chinese Teacher: Inspire Students with Compassion

Ms. Yan Chu-Ying saw her shortcoming from other practitioners’ sharing.

Ms. Yan Chu-Ying is a Chinese teacher. Her eldest son had an ear infection and hearing loss in 2007. The doctors couldn’t help him. Her older sister told her about Falun Dafa. After attending a nine-day workshop and doing the exercises, the child’s hearing recovered. Her family was amazed, and she thus became a practitioner.

Before she learned Falun Dafa, Ms. Yan felt she was a good teacher – she was hardworking, responsible, and looked out for the students’ best interest by setting strict requirements for them. Practicing Falun Dafa allowed her to understand that a good teacher isn’t about holding students to high standards and being authoritative, but being kind, understanding, and forgiving.

Ms. Yan talked about a practitioner who won the Best Teacher Award – the highest honor any teacher can earn. “She let people see how wonderful a Falun Dafa practitioner could be as a teacher. Listening to her gives me hope that I can do better at work.

“One time a student’s belonging was stolen. I didn’t want to question or blame the class, instead, I read a true story from Dajiyuan. The stolen object was later returned, which surprised everyone. A story changed a child’s heart, and this is the power of compassion.”

Ms. Yan also talked about what she could have done better. “I regret that I haven’t been keeping up with memorizing the Fa. Because I don’t remember everything in the teachings, sometimes I blame others instead of looking within when I get into a conflict.”

She was glad that the selfless sharing from other practitioners made her see her shortcomings. “I want to learn from other practitioners and act according to the standards of the teachings. I want to be a genuine practitioner by eliminating my attachment to comfort and continuing to memorize the teachings.”

Improve During Tribulations

Mr. Huang Chong-Yu

Mr. Huang Chong-Yu is a teacher and is in charge of the school’s information administration. His wife suggested he read Zhuan Falun. After reading it, he understood how precious and profound Falun Dafa is, “This is a heavenly book that wakes people up to the truth of life,” he said.

The bloating that bothered Mr. Huang for years disappeared. The improvement in his personality was obvious. He used to be obsessed with small gains at work, and fought for his interests. He no longer frets over trivial matters. “My colleagues say I’m warm and friendly. My family also noticed a change in my attitude. I used to be impatient and strict with my child, now I listen and communicate.”

The sharing from the 85-year-old practitioner moved him. “We think elderly people are often sick or should stay home, but this practitioner is different. His story let me see the importance of believing in Master and the Fa.

“The stories I heard today have one thing in common, and that is these practitioners are all able to remember Master’s words during tribulations, and the principles of the teachings guide them through the tests. Sometimes I can’t remember that I’m a practitioner when a conflict suddenly arises. I think this is something I need to work on.”

He realized that, as long as one genuinely believes in Master, and does as he asks in conflicts and tests, one will continue to improve and pass one test after another.
