Catch and Eliminate Unrighteous Thoughts

(Minghui.org) Unrighteous thoughts may occasionally arise in our minds when we do things that validate Dafa and awaken people. We shouldn’t let them slip away, ignore them, or disregard them. We should instead catch them, acknowledge they are not our thoughts, and remove them. This will prevent unrighteous thoughts from interfering with our righteous thoughts.

I was collaborating with a practitioner on a Dafa project, and I was in charge of delivery. The practitioner and I have traveled to that distant location before. This time she was too busy to go, so I had to go by myself.

I had done this trip twice before, but wasn’t sure if I remembered the route. I didn’t want to delay the project so I agreed to do it.

Before leaving, I thought about the task ahead. An unrighteous thought came to my mind, though I can’t remember the details now. I immediately realized it was not my thought. I was assisting Master in awakening people. Master’s Law Bodies and the heavenly law guardians were around me. Who would dare to touch me!? The unrighteous thoughts then disappeared.

As soon as I hit the road, key information about the route came to my mind. I sent forth righteous thoughts and the journey went smoothly. It only took me 30 minutes, and it was faster than when the practitioner and I went together.

I studied the Fa after I came home, and had a sudden insight about the meaning of “... the negative can’t conquer the positive...” (“Teachings at the Conference in New Zealand”)

I kept repeating the phrase and understood it was a cosmic principle! As soon as our righteous thoughts emerge, the bad elements will cease to exist. Indeed, the moment the bad thought appeared, I caught it and disintegrated it with righteous thoughts, and it vanished.

Speaking of righteous thoughts, I now understand that we are cultivating within the great Fa of the universe. It is the most righteous, the best, and highest Fa.

We are Dafa disciples assisting Master in Fa-rectification. We bear the sacred mission of helping Master awaken sentient beings. What we are doing is the most righteous, and we should do it in an upright manner! When we conduct ourselves with integrity and strong righteous thoughts, the wicked elements won’t dare to approach us!
