(Minghui.org) Practitioners held a march in the center of Sydney’s financial district on October 10, 2025, to introduce the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance to the public. They also raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 26-year-long persecution of Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) in China.
This event was one of the three-day activities which were part of the 2025 Australian Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference. The march started from Martin Place. Falun Dafa practitioners of various ethnicities carried banners and flags and demonstrated the exercises.
Onlookers praised the parade for its bright colors, good organization, rich content, inspiring messages, and calling on peoples’ conscience. Many people said it conveyed messages that are vital to today’s world.

Lawyer: Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Is Important in Today’s World
Lawyers James (right) and Zera watched the parade.
James is a solicitor in Sydney. He said he had lived in Hong Kong for four years and knew about the persecution.
“It’s really colorful and exciting and well organized. The music [Tian Guo Marching Band] is really cool, really exciting,” James said. “The parade is very peaceful and it is bringing awareness. It’s great.”
Zera, also a solicitor, echoed the same sentiment, “It’s very well organized. It’s very exciting, very colorful, and peaceful. The message seems like it’s about harmony and peace, and it’s beautiful.”
Toya, a jeweler, said, “I’ve seen some of these parades before. I think everyone has the right to speak their mind and freedom of speech. The parade is very well coordinated. and it’s also a peaceful protest. I certainly agree with the principles [Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance].”
Loren, a hairdresser, saw the parade with her daughter Sage Richard while they were shopping in Sydney. They were drawn by the band’s performance and stopped to watch.
Loren said, “The colors are bright and attract people. The principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance should be adopted by everyone from all walks of life.”
Lawyer Darcy Larkin watched the parade.
Lawyer Darcy Larkin also commended the parade, “The parade is beautiful! I love the music and it’s very peaceful. I love the beautiful yellow.
“The values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance are very important today,” she said. “It’s very scary out in our society and around the world today. It would be good for everyone to have more compassion and tolerance. It is a good message you are sending.
“I haven’t heard about [the CCP’s state-sanctioned forced] organ harvesting in China. I will do more research on this topic via this website,” she said.
Local Residents Thank Practitioners
Education consultant Akash learned about Falun Dafa.
Akash heard about Falun Dafa for the first time and was impressed with the parade and practitioners’ efforts. “This parade is very great. There is so much to see,” he said.
“This is the first time I’ve heard of Falun Dafa. What I can see is a group of people walking together, promoting something - their customs. So I definitely think it really has some good effect.
“Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance are very important. The world is changing, and being a good human is definitely important and it will help society.
“I really appreciate what you are doing here to help the people. It is good,” Akash said.
Leo and Evie are university students. Leo is studying industrial engineering and Evie is studying education. Leo said, “I hope they do bigger and bigger events [to help people learn about the CCP’s persecution]."
Evie said, “The persecution is absolutely awful... the idea of anyone getting their organs harvested against their will. It’s a terrible, terrible thing. And you can tell by the number of people in this protest alone, it’s an actual thing. They might have friends who have gone missing. So that brings it home that this is a real issue that needs to be addressed.
“I think part of me is like, because I haven’t heard in the news or from friends of mine who are Chinese Australian. They don’t really talk about the organ harvesting. So part of me is like, is it even real? Is it even happening? But then seeing the protest today, how many people were in the protest, and you could see on their faces, that makes it so real,” said Evie.
“I think a really powerful part of the protest is that it is such a peaceful protest. The drumming and how unified they looked. They are always really gentle and peaceful people. So that kind of feature makes it easier to trust,” Evie added.
Impressed by the Parade’s Message
Sam Ammond supports Falun Gong practitioners.
Sam Ammond, a chef, said he liked the parade, “I like what it stands for. Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance are great principles. If only the rest of the world could do that. It’d be a lot nicer place to live.”
Talking about the CCP’s persecution, he expressed his support for practitioners, “I think organ harvesting is terrible. We have to wake up, stand up, and uphold our freedom and belief. Protesting is the most powerful thing that anyone can do. Progress is only made through protests and people standing up and having a voice.”
