My Understanding of Immediate Retribution in This Lifetime

(Minghui.org) One of the formulas for sending forth righteous thoughts is about immediate retribution in this lifetime, which is a major principle and plays a great role in Dafa practitioners’ righteous thoughts to eliminate evil factors. 

Many practitioners have submitted articles recently about their insights on this formula to Minghui.org. But they have mainly focused on how to make those perpetrators involved in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners receive retribution as soon as possible. I wish to talk about my understanding and share it with fellow practitioners. 

1. The two formulas are equivalent to the Fa that Master has taught his disciples in the Fa-rectification cultivation. They are all-encompassing and leave nothing out. They are a powerful force in the universe that can rectify everything, everywhere. The Fa is clearing, rectifying, balancing, and refining everything. However, supernatural abilities, instruments, and guardian divine beings do not act independently and must obey orders. If you do not give orders for when they should act, you are preventing them from taking action and playing the roles they should.

2. There is heaven and earth at every level in the universe. Master is rectifying heaven and earth at every level. Dafa disciples in the world are also participating in assisting Master in Fa-rectification, eliminating evil with righteous thoughts, and saving sentient beings. Before the Fa-rectification of the human world officially begins, Dafa disciples are acting on the stage of the world by following the Fa, assisting Master in Fa-rectification, eliminating evil with righteous thoughts, clarifying the truth, and saving sentient beings. This is also a manifestation of the Fa-rectification of heaven and earth.

3. At the current stage, Master’s teachings, “How Humankind Came To Be,” “Why Save Sentient Beings,” and “Why This World Is a Realm of Unknowing,” indicate that the Fa-rectification has begun to enter the transitional stage to the Fa-rectification of the human world. Righteous principles are taking over everything, and righteous principles and forces are returning to their righteous positions. At the same time, they are rectifying all forms of existence that do not conform to the Fa in this dimension and related levels. The first things to be cleared out are the evil communist forces in the world that are hostile to Dafa and persecute Dafa and Dafa disciples, as well as the evil that participates in and cooperates with the evil communist forces in various forms to target Master, Dafa, and Dafa disciples. This first part will be fulfilled quickly under the principle of immediate retribution in this world.

4. The old universe has already entered the stage of destruction. The mighty force of the Fa-rectification sweeps across the great firmament and corrects everything. If everything in the old universe cannot be corrected and assimilated in the Fa-rectification, then all life in the world will come to an end. For each layer of heaven and earth and every life in it, all the karma accumulated in the past and in this life must be settled in this life.

All sentient beings in the cosmos’ stage of destruction carry enormous karma that they have accumulated during their many reincarnations, and it is unbearable and cannot be repaid. If Master did not bear it for sentient beings with great compassion in the Fa-rectification, the sentient beings would have to pay for their karma during the destruction of their existence, layer after layer, in this lifetime. This is also one of the huge manifestations of immediate retribution in this lifetime.

5. It is no coincidence that in today’s human world, materialism and atheism are popular, and a large number of people no longer believe in an afterlife. If Master had not come to the world with great compassion to save the great firmament, the old universe and sentient beings would have been destroyed. During this process, the layers of old divinities in the old universe saw the incomparable horror of this ending and wanted to save themselves, so they set up layers of self-rescue plans. However, all these arrangements are destined to become fruitless struggles in their inescapable fate. Instead, these arrangements formed layers of obstacles in the process of Master’s Fa-rectification of the universe.

When the mighty force of Fa-rectification is about to reach the human world, all those who are still brainwashed and controlled by materialism and atheism, and who still believe that people only have this lifetime, and all those who still do not believe in the divine, do not believe in and respect Dafa, who resist Dafa, and commit crimes against Master and Dafa, will inevitably be completely destroyed when the Fa rectifies the human world. This is also one of the manifestations of retribution in this lifetime.

6. Master and Dafa are judging everything. All sentient beings will be judged in this life, and their positions will be determined when the Fa-rectification ends. Everything that sentient beings have done in history, as well as their attitudes and behaviors toward the Fa-rectification, will determine their final outcome in the great judgment. Clarifying the truth is to give these beings an opportunity to understand the Fa-rectification and eliminate evil notions. After hearing the truth, whether they believe it or not, as well as their attitude and stance toward the Fa-rectification, largely determines whether they will have a future. During a Shen Yun performance, a lot of evil concepts, such as atheism and materialism, are eliminated, and the truth about the evil communist specter is powerfully revealed. This is also what we Dafa disciples should do to the best of our abilities.

7. During the Fa-rectification process, the lives that accept the Fa-rectification are rectified and assimilated to the Fa to varying degrees. Those that have been rectified and assimilated will be saved from the final extinction and become lives in the new universe. Those that have not completed their rectification and assimilation will have their fate determined in the Fa. Those that cannot enter the new universe will disintegrate and perish at the end of their lives in accordance with the Fa of the old universe. These things are also one aspect of the manifestation of immediate retribution in this lifetime.

8. Immediate retribution in this lifetime means not only that evil will be punished, but also that good will be rewarded. These are all principles that manifest in the Fa rectification of the heaven and earth.

In the current situation, eliminating evil and destroying the evil communist spirit is done to save sentient beings. Therefore, in this process, the main focus of our righteous thoughts to eliminate evil is to quickly let those irredeemable spirits and bad people who have committed serious crimes against Master and Dafa receive the retribution they deserve.

Retribution in this lifetime is the righteous principle of the universe, which is infinitely powerful and encompasses everything. When we recite the formula and eliminate evil, we need to understand that we rely on the strong righteous thoughts and righteous faith based on a deep understanding of the righteous Fa, and on the supernatural powers and strength that Master and the Fa have bestowed upon Dafa disciples; not just our own thoughts. Therefore, we must understand the Fa from within the Fa. The stronger the righteous thoughts and righteous faith, the more indestructible, and the more power we can mobilize and exert, and the greater the effect of eliminating evil.

9. Retribution in this lifetime is the righteous principle of the universe. It permeates all levels and details of the real world and is omnipresent. As Master’s Fa-rectification accelerates, everything is also accelerating at the same time, and retribution in this life is also manifesting faster. In fact, people have increasingly experienced the swiftness of retribution now. Many people call it the boomerang phenomenon; that is, no matter what purpose a person has for doing something that harms heaven and earth, he will now receive retribution more swiftly. The retribution suffered by a large number of evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members and police who participated in the persecution of Dafa and Dafa disciples is also one of these manifestations. Therefore, we should truly see and feel that in the reality of the world, retribution in this life is manifesting at all times and in all places. We must know that the principles of Fa-rectification are fundamental. This is by no means just our belief, but principles that are proceeding in reality. Our belief is implemented in reality and will become a real and powerful force to eliminate evil in the world.

What I wrote is rather wordy because I thought of many aspects and my expression is not clear and thorough enough. It is just my personal understanding. Perhaps it can provide fellow practitioners with a different angle for discussion and thinking. Please point it out if there are any parts that are not in line with the Fa.
