Shen Yun Is Restoring Mankind’s Morals

(Minghui.org) Because Shen Yun Performing Arts hadn’t come to Brazil I watched it for the first time in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2012. It was an amazing experience. Throughout the performances I could see mankind’s true moral values displayed in the dances and music, and I felt my mind and body were uplifted.

I practiced the Falun Dafa exercises after I returned to the hotel. My body felt light, and my mind was free of wandering thoughts. It was very comfortable. When I encountered a small conflict the next day, I let it go, as Falun Dafa teaches us not to fight back when we are hit and not to curse back when we are sworn at. I remembered one of the dances in the show and felt that the artists’ vigorous movements were breaking up the blocked energy in my body. I understood that this energy was blocked due to my ego. When the image appeared in my mind, I felt my body being purified and my ego was eliminated. I was relieved and grateful.

When I read the Falun Dafa teachings after I returned to Brazil I heard divine trumpets playing. It was music I never heard before, and it was both solemn and uplifting.

From my experiences, I understood that Shen Yun is not just any performance, but rather a heavenly experience that is restoring mankind’s moral values. The happiness I felt after I watched it is difficult to describe in words.

More People Should See Shen Yun

I started helping to promote the show ever since. I went back to Buenos Aires twice to promote the show. When I was in North Carolina in the U.S. to pursue my doctorate degree, I helped distribute Shen Yun flyers and posters. When Shen Yun finally came to Brazil, I helped promote the show. This has been a great experience, and I learned a lot in the process.

Unfortunately, the Chinese Communist Party is using western newspapers to slander Shen Yun. But I know this show brings higher moral values to every audience member through dance and music, and this moral elevation is very much needed in modern society. It has a positive impact on people’s health as well. Because I experienced this myself I hope more people watch Shen Yun, because it will greatly benefit them.
